Eboni K. Williams will star as the judge of her own court show. After the Real Housewives of New York alum shared the news, Jen Shah from Real Housewives of Salt Lake City gave her reaction.
Jen recently had dealings with her own judge as the star was given a 6.5-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to fraud. Many fans were surprised by Jen’s response to Eboni’s court show gig, and they slammed her on social media.
According to Deadline, Eboni is now set to star in a show called Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams. The one-hour show will air daily, starting in the fall. It will be available on television stations and global cable, digital distribution, and network platforms. As a 39-year-old, Eboni will become the youngest judge with a syndicated court show for the fall season.
“We at Allen Media Group are proud to add Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams to our amazing portfolio of court shows,” stated Byron Allen, the Chairman/Founder/CEO of the Allen Media Group. “Eboni K. Williams is an outstanding and charismatic television host, and we are extremely confident that our newest court series will be very successful for years to come as she joins our outstanding roster of talent.”
“There is no one in this industry I trust and revere more than Byron Allen, and I am elated that Equal Justice with Judge Eboni K. Williams is coming to television this fall,” expressed Eboni. “Byron’s nonstop commitment to creating exceptional programming and his unmatched amplification of our culture are why I am certain we will deliver another phenomenal television court series.”
As Eboni shared the news on Instagram, via @bravosnarkside, Jen seemed elated by it, and she wrote a series of clapping emojis.
The fan account called out the “irony” of Jen approving such a post about a judge given her recent prison sentence. “Jen don’t know when to quit,” the account added.
Other fans shared their own reactions to Jen’s comment.
“I know Jen isn’t thinking Eboni can overturn her verdict,” wrote @bela_01.
“Really?” asked @realhousewivesofdubaibravo. “Didn’t a court just sentence you to jail?”
A different viewer, @diiscountess, accused Jen of having “zero shame.”
User @nisereneeeveryday added, “Obviously the sentence was not adequate.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season three reunion concludes Wednesday, February 1, at 8/7c on Bravo.
