Jackie Goldschneider claims Ozempic is a common weight loss drug in the world of the Real Housewives.

The star, who was a main cast member on Real Housewives of New Jersey, has discussed her own journey with disordered eating.

Kyle Richards from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills recently denied accusations that she used the drug to shed pounds after she uploaded photos of her new physique on social media.

In an appearance for Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, Jackie revealed she’s “horrified” by the abuse of Ozempic, claiming it often occurs in her Real Housewives community.

“You should know that I can talk about Ozempic all day. It gets me so fired up,” said the 46-year-old. “I’m horrified by it.”

She went on to say, “There’s going to be a lot of people with eating disorders. … You start dropping massive amounts of weight. That’s so addicting. That’s how I spiraled into anorexia.”

Jackie said she’s now in a “great place” with her own recovery.

“This is the first time in my life that I’ve really learned to love myself and really accept myself,” she explained. “I had to learn that weight has nothing to do with happiness.”

The fascination with Ozempic-style weight loss in her social circle has been hard to handle, she expressed.

“A lot of people in the ‘Housewives’ world are on Ozempic,” said the star. “It made my recovery harder, from a selfish standpoint, because I wanted to come back into a world where everyone around me was eating and loving food and enjoying life.”

She continued, “I wanted to come back to that and I didn’t because a lot of people in the ‘Housewives’ world are on Ozempic, a lot of my friends are in the ‘Housewives’ world, so it was tough for me to come back and suddenly no one’s eating when we go out to dinner.”

According to Jackie, the weight loss trend “opened [her] eyes … made [her] even more disgusted” by the dietary industry in general.

Jackie expressed she wasn’t “saying anyone, in particular, is on it,” but she added that she “looked up to some people [who she believed] had a very normal relationship with food” — but they are now using Ozempic.

The mother of four will address her disordered eating in an upcoming memoir, The Weight of Beautiful.

“This is a story I’ve spent my whole life hiding, the story of how diet culture took over my life, plunging me into a world of starvation, filled with shame and secrets, that lasted almost 2 decades long,” wrote Jackie on Instagram.

“This is also a story of recovery. It’s a story that will blow you away.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
