During a Real Housewives of New Jersey clip, Melissa Gorga admits her intention to “drunk dial [her] ex” as sister-in-law Teresa Giudice reacts.
In the current season of the show, several castmates are discussing a rumor – allegedly spread by castmate Margaret Josephs – that Melissa was caught kissing another man.
In a clip shared by @allrhonjfacts on Instagram, Melissa makes the strange comment.
“I’m about to drunk dial my ex,” says Melissa to the group.
Dolores Catania initially seems shocked by the statement, and sister-in-law Teresa asks out loud, “Her ex?”
In a confessional interview following the clip, Teresa looks into the camera and raises her eyebrows, as if hiding her suspicions.

In the comments section, fans shared their own reaction to the video, which according to many viewers is Melissa’s smoking gun.
“In the words of Garcelle [Beauvais] — ‘I don’t have to make you look bad you can do that on your own,'” wrote @kings_mom071415.
A different user was shocked Melissa “would say that in front of Teresa knowing she is married to her brother … It just kind of makes you question everything.”
Another user addressed the seeming hypocrisy in the cast. “How come this can slide and anything Tre does gets blown up,” asked the fan. “So [Teresa] can’t bring up Antonia … but [Melissa] can say she’s drunk and wants to text her ex — I just don’t get it.”
Despite the rumors swirling around each episode, Melissa has remained adamant that the allegations are false.
