Lala Kent weighed in on the internal investigation into the recent leak of the Vanderpump Rules season 10 finale trailer while appearing on Jeff Lewis‘ SiriusXM radio show on Thursday.

Just as she said that because the leaked finale clip was timestamped and on a monitor, she suspects that a Bravo editor was behind it getting out, Lala announced she would not be attending next month’s MTV Movie & TV Awards, where she was expected to present, due to the ongoing writers strike.

“I am so honored to be nominated this year and thankful to all my fans who have been voting, but I have decided to stay home in support of the many hard-working writers who deserve to be compensated fairly,” Lala said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter on May 4, signaling to Pump Rules‘ nominations for Best Docu-Reality Series and Best Reality Onscreen Team.

“Although Vanderpump Rules falls under the unscripted sector of TV, that is not an excuse for me to remain silent and carry on as if there isn’t so much at stake for every writer and their families. We have to protect our creators, and I hope you’ll stand with me and many others as we do so until we reach a resolution (hopefully very soon),” she added.

According to the report, Lala was the “first talent” to pull out of the event, which Drew Barrymore was expected to host before canceling her gig for the same reason.

As for the finale leak, Lala expressed frustration with whoever was behind it, noting that those responsible for editing footage from the show have a heavy workload.

“That is so messed up, whoever did that,” Lala began on the May 4 episode of Jeff Lewis Live. “I mean, you have to know, these editors and everyone [that is] part of the crew, they work so f-cking hard to create this content for someone who, it seemed from my perspective watching it, that’s someone in the editor’s room.”

According to Lala, she believes an editor is behind the leak because the clip that surfaced online on Tuesday wasn’t yet watermarked.”

“We don’t even get episodes to view without that watermark,” she stated. “So for them to just like, the fact that they had to go back in and re-edit the finale trailer…”In the finale trailer, Ariana Madix is seen confronting Tom Sandoval about his affair with her best friend, Raquel Leviss, as Raquel laughed off the betrayal in another scene, joking that things had gone “horribly wrong.”

“They leaked, it’s on a monitor, timestamped, someone recording the final cut of the preview, the finale trailer, and I was looking going, ‘How do people have this?’ I don’t understand,” Lala continued. “It’s obviously an editor at their computer. Now, I don’t know that. There’s a lot [of editors]. It could be anybody.”

As for the “internal investigation” being conducted, Lala wondered what that meant.

“Are we taking people’s phones? That’s the only way you’re gonna catch [them],” she noted. “[And they’ll] absolutely [be fired].”

Also on Jeff Lewis Live, Lala recalled the firing of another editor who publicly proclaimed that they enjoyed painting Scheana Shay in a negative light.

“I think she was an editor, and she went on a podcast and talked about the editing process and how she loves to make Scheana look bad. She lost her job,” Lala shared.

Vanderpump Rules season 10 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
