Lisa Rinna is responding to Andy Cohen’s bombshell claims that she was “put on pause” after she allegedly tried to return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after initially quitting the franchise after eight seasons.

Following the release of his new book, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up, the Housewives fandom was rocked after Andy wrote that Lisa had indeed quit the show after filming the “especially dark” and “chaotic” season 12 but alleged that the soap star quickly changed her mind.

In the book, Andy details how just one week after Lisa told him of her intention to quit, Lisa and her team reached out about the possibility of returning, writing, “It kinda seems like Rinna isn’t quitting, based on some correspondence with the team. This is going to be a journey, on both sides.”

“I think [Lisa] should go on pause but absolutely come back. Feels like she has a toxic relationship with the show at this point, and taking a breath away could do everyone good,” he continued.

He added in the epilogue, “We mutually agreed with Rinna that she should take a break from the show (this is a real pause)”.

It seems nobody told that to Lisa.

According to Lisa, there was “never any discussion” of her being put “on pause” and she is denying Andy’s claims in a new statement.

“There was never any discussion with anyone about that concept,” Lisa’s rep told E! News on May 12. “Her contract ended, and the parties mutually agreed not to engage on a new one. She felt her time on the show had run its course and she was more than happy to move on. And she still does not regret it.”

Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is currently in production and expected to premiere sometime in 2023 on Bravo.
