Are Jennifer Aydin and Danielle Cabral facing a “long term suspension” after reportedly coming to blows during a party thrown by Teresa Giudice last week?
Following reports claiming Jennifer, 46, was left “bleeding” and “bruised” after pushing Danielle, 38, amid an argument, a series of new reports have shared details regarding their current suspension from The Real Housewives of New Jersey and what led up to their heated fight.
“Jennifer pushed Danielle during the argument and Danielle retaliated by crumpling her plastic cup and hurling it towards Jennifer’s face, drawing blood,” an insider told Page Six on September 25.
According to the report, Jennifer sustained nothing more than a scratch after Danielle threw her beverage at her and did not receive medical attention for the injury.
“Jennifer only pushed Danielle because Danielle got in her face,” a second insider shared.
At the moment, as an investigation into the incident by Bravo and their production company, Sirens Media, continues, with producers looking back on the video footage captured, Jennifer and Danielle are not permitted to film — even without the rest of the cast.
One particular item the investigation hopes to pinpoint is whether Danielle threw the plastic cup at Jennifer’s face, or if she was holding it when she hit her.
At the time of the encounter, RHONJ stars Dolores Catania, 52, Jennifer Fessler, and Jackie Goldschneider, 46, were also present.
“They have clashed a lot,” the source said of Jennifer and Danielle. “Jennifer has accused Danielle of not donating money during a recent charity event, while Danielle has accused Jennifer of stealing her hairdresser.”
“Everyone is shocked,” the source added. “And no one has any idea when Danielle and Jennifer will begin filming again.”
Meanwhile, a second report further confirmed Jennifer and Danielle’s “mutual physical” altercation.
“Jennifer and Danielle got in a fight about a hairdresser they both use and money for a charity event that Danielle allegedly didn’t donate [to],” an insider told Us Weekly on September 25. “They are likely going to face some sort of long term suspension.”
While early reports suggested Jennifer may have been quite badly injured, the source shared that her injuries were not serious and that she is on the mend after some light “bleeding” after the debacle, during which cameras were rolling.
Coincidentally, Bravo released new guidelines for their reality stars the day after the fight, which noted that there would be “more serious consequences for physical violence on set.”
Although Jennifer and Danielle have been put on pause for the moment, the insider went on to confirm that the “rest of the cast is still filming” through the end of this month.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to begin airing on Bravo sometime in 2024.
