Gia Giudice reacted to executive producer Andy Cohen’s revelation that viewers will see “a lot more” of her on the upcoming season of the Real Housewives of New Jersey. The star also disclosed where she mostly filmed.
Around the same time, Gia’s mom Teresa Giudice shared her thoughts on Gia potentially getting married soon. As of now, the eldest daughter is studying to become an immigration attorney and has dreams of owning a clothing business.
Speaking with Us Weekly, Gia addressed her more pivotal role in the upcoming season.
“I feel like, honestly, it was really whenever my mom was home, I would hop in the scene or I went to a couple events outside of our house,” said the 22-year-old. “But other than that, it was pretty much just always filming at home.”
She went on to say, “I mean, in filming aspects, I’m always, like, my mom’s right-hand man … So, she comes to me for advice, and we kind of just work through everything together, which is nice.”
When asked if she’d consider a full-time ‘Housewife’ role, Gia explained, “I feel like it brings a lot of highs and lows … Now that I’ve lived through it, I feel like I wouldn’t be a master going into it. But it was like, if you have dirty laundry, don’t go on the show. … I would know what to do just [because] I feel like we’ve been through it all on the show. I don’t think I would be opposed to doing it. I feel like if the opportunity came to me that I would consider it, but maybe I would do it.”
At a BravoCon panel, via BravoTV.com, Teresa addressed the idea of Gia getting married. Her daughter has been seeing her boyfriend Christian Carmichael for a few years now, and they’ve been open about their relationship.
“If that happens, it’s on her,” said Teresa, who believes Gia is “too young to get married.”
