This has been a pretty intense year for reality TV stars getting divorced. Now, famed fashion designer Rachel Zoe is joining the fray as she just announced that she and Rodger Berman are no longer together. This comes after 26 years of marriage and multiple businesses built together.

Rachel and Rodger were together for a total of 33 years, and they tied the knot in 1998. Fans will recall seeing the couple together on The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired on Bravo for five seasons and coincided with the beginning of the Housewives shows. The couple has two sons together, Skylar and Kaius

According to Page Six, Rachel took to Instagram to announce the news that she and Rodger were going their separate ways. The fashion designer said, “After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage.”

Rachel continued, “We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together. Our number one priority has been and will always be our children.”

She then addressed their sons as well as their various business endeavors by saying, “We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share.”

Naturally, the former reality TV star also requested “privacy” during this difficult transition.

It’s unclear why Rachel and Rodger have made the decision not to continue their longtime marriage. The two had previously opened up in interviews about why their marriage worked so well. At the time, they both agreed that it was “the little things,” and that they never allow anger to build up without talking about their issues.

Additionally, Rachel shared a photo of Rodger and the two boys on Instagram for Father’s Day this year.

People make the difficult decision to end marriages for all sorts of reasons, and we hope for the best for them and their two children.
