Bethenny Frankel shared a video of her daughter, Bryn Hoppy, attending Paris Fashion Week on Wednesday that caught the attention of her many fans and followers.

After first facing backlash earlier this week for “marching” down the runway of the L’Oréal fashion show, the 53-year-old Real Housewives of New York City alum received criticism for Bryn’s look after the 14-year-old filmed a fit check, detailing her look and doing what fans say was “bragging” about the many labels she was wearing.

“My mom has a really big night tonight and she needs to get ready so I’m going to take over the account and do a fit check,” Bryn, who Bethenny shares with ex-husband Jason Hoppy, shared in the September 25 video. “My dress is from LoveShack Fancy. My shoes are vintage Valentino. My bag is an unknown sparkly bag and then most of my jewelry is from my mom. And this one’s from Hermes and this one is from San Tropez.”

While many of Bethenny’s fans thought Bryn looked “gorgeous” and “cute,” others felt that the look, especially the push-up nature of her dress, was not appropriate for a girl of her age.

“Not an appropriate dress for a 14-year-old,” one person stated.

“It’s a beautiful dress. It’s the push-up bra that seems unnecessary. She has such a lovely figure without popping out of it,” another noted.

“Looks way too old for her age!” a third agreed. “She went from 13 to 30! It’s sad to me that the focus is clearly on the value of material things.”

“Shouldn’t we all strive for that simplicity and disregard for labels?!” someone else joked.

According to others, “too much focus” was being placed on material things.

“We should teach our kids to be humble and that displaying your wealth is not appropriate,” one IG user advised. Another said, “This is so wrong on all accounts. Teaching your daughter to brag about what she has. Keep it to yourself.”

“Why does wealth have to ruin people in so many ways!? Why the rush for Bryn to look way beyond her years!?” someone else asked. “All of this is for constant attention.”

Bethenny Frankel starred on The Real Housewives of New York City in a full-time role from seasons one to three and seven to 11.
