Tamra Judge addressed if she was too ‘mean’ to co-star Shannon Beador on the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County, and she shared if she hopes to clean the slate with her at the upcoming reunion. She also clapped back at “ex-model” Molly Sims, who recently criticized her “blue” chemical peel after Tamra posted shocking photos of the recovery.

Throughout several episodes, Tamra called out Shannon for allegedly being an alcoholic in the wake of her DUI arrest. Many fans were surprised by Tamra, who claimed last season to be Shannon’s good friend.

On a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, model and actor Molly slammed Tamra’s cosmetic procedure, claiming it pulls the skin barrier and makes the face too slick to wear makeup.

In an interview for Us Weekly, Tamra spoke to accusations that she was too “mean” to Shannon.

“I’m being reactive, for sure,” she insisted. “Was I being sweet? No.”

“I do regret ever calling her an alcoholic,” Tamra went on. “I do regret that, but at that point, I was just pushed against the wall and I’m like, you know what? It’s very hard for me since I’ve known her and the struggles with alcohol and getting in an accident, getting a DUI and still drinking. I can’t wrap my brain around that at all. At all.”

“And one might say, ‘Oh, well, you get drunk on the show and you act like an a*s.’ Yes, I do. I am somebody that definitely can’t handle more than two drinks, and it’s because I don’t drink that much,” claimed Tamra. “But when I film, I tend to think I need a little bit of liquid courage. [And] liquid courage turns [me] into a straight a–.”

The star hinted that she hopes the upcoming reunion will clean the slate of their friendship.

“I really am hoping that we can move past it. I don’t think that we’ll ever be best friends like that,” Tamra explained. “I really just want her to realize I wasn’t out to hurt her. I have been there for her forever.”

Tamra also addressed her disagreement with Molly, who spoke negatively about Tamra’s procedure.

“Well, I don’t exactly know what ‘breaks the barrier of my skin’ means, but my makeup hasn’t split off my face like she said,” said Tamra, speaking to the same outlet. “I get it, no disrespect to Molly Sims, but she is an ex-model [who] is now selling skincare. I think that I’m going to take the advice of a board-certified surgeon.”

“I’ve had a lot of friends that have had it done. My plastic surgeon does them all the time,” she added. “Heather said [her husband] Terry Dubrow does them all the time, and I haven’t experienced anything negative.”

But Tamra shared that her initial recovery wasn’t pleasant.

“The first couple of days was pretty brutal, and then after that I had to go on a steroid pack to get the swelling to go down,” she said. “So as soon as the swelling went down, that was less painful. But then I had to deal with, basically like a burn victim, my skin was peeling off my neck for some reason. They say it’s the most painful. It burned, it itched, and that lasted for a couple weeks. I’m still scratching my hair and getting skin off.”

“Feeling great. It’s been four weeks today,” Tamra continued. “My skin is still really sensitive and very thin, and it’s rebuilding, and my staples are removed out of my head from the brow lift. So that’s a good thing. I’m still sore, but overall feeling pretty good.”

As for filming this season with her daughter Sophia, Tamra said she was happy it finally could happen.

“She’s my best friend. I’m her best. We do everything together,” she said. “We have a really tight household, and we spent a lot of time together. And yeah, it was great. And she doesn’t have to hide. … and it was so hard because we’d be filming and she couldn’t be part of my life, and she felt it too. Spencer has never wanted to be on camera ever. I have to blur his face if I put him on Instagram or not put him on at all.”
