Meredith Marks is reacting to Angie Katsanevas‘ claim about Lisa Barlow encouraging her to “dig up information” on her family, which she shared on Tuesday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.
After Angie, 51, suggested that Lisa, 50, wanted her to collect dirt on Meredith, 53, in an effort to intimidate her, Meredith explained why she had “mixed” feelings about the “nothing sandwich” allegations as she dished on her latest business ventures.
“On one hand, we were talking about something that Lisa supposedly did a long time ago … We’ve moved past that, we’ve built a new friendship and a new relationship, and I can’t live in the past,” Meredith explained to The Daily Dish on October 7.
Although Meredith didn’t take Angie’s claim too seriously, she still considered it as a possibility, albeit briefly.
“If it were true, it would be bothersome to me,” Meredith added. “It wouldn’t be something that I couldn’t move past, if she and I talked through it.”
According to Meredith, she was suspicious of Angie’s timing and found it “concerning.”
“It was a little concerning to me that it was brought to me during a time when Lisa and Angie were not getting along,” she noted. “And it was such an old thing. So, I just couldn’t get that invested in it.”
During another portion of her interview with The Daily Dish, Meredith spoke of the caviar lounge that’s coming to her Park City boutique.
“I am excited for fans to see…my planning of my new caviar lounge. We’re about to finally start construction,” she revealed. “It took a lot of work to get to where we are now, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. I’m really, really excited about that.”
On Tuesday’s episode, fans saw Meredith speaking to her husband, Seth Marks, and daughter, Chloe Marks, 22, at the location.
“Here’s what I’m thinking. The front part of this side I think should be like this super tiny, chic little jewelry store that people walk into, and they go through the back, into this speakeasy caviar lounge,” she explained.
As she continues to build what she calls a “lifestyle brand,” with Brooks Marks, 26, working as the creative director for her company, Meredith will be adding bath products to her repertoire, which currently includes jewelry, clothing, and accessories, “in a couple months.”
Meredith is also having “a lot of fun” headlining a 10-city Naughty & Ice Tour, and she’s looking forward to fans indulging in her latest venture, which was inspired by “the rumors [and] the nastiness” of season four.
“I just released a game called Rumors and Nastiness. It’s on preorder right now,” she shared. “It’s basically a card game with prompts and, you know, is it a rumor or a nasty truth? [That] is kind of the concept of it.”
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
