Andy Cohen spoke about Wendy and Eddie Osefo‘s fraud arrests for a second time on Thursday in New York City.

After first addressing the Real Housewives of Potomac drama on his radio show, the 57-year-old Watch What Happens Live host revealed if he’d touched base with Wendy, 41, or her family, while also commenting on her public persona as a “role model” and admitting to being shocked by the claims of a fake robbery that have been brought against her.

“I haven’t,” Andy confirmed to TMZ on October 16.

“I think that she is doing her own thing. I love her. And I love her family. And I love Eddie, and I am hoping that they come out of this really well,” he continued after being asked about potential post-arrest filming.

“I think she’s been a really great role model, housewife, and she’s always led with her education and family values, and I really don’t — I was surprised as anybody was when I woke up to the TMZ news on Friday about this,” he added.

Then, when asked how he felt about the cast, including Ashley Darby, 37, and Mia Thornton, 40, poking fun at Wendy and her arrest, Andy signaled to the Osefos’ family.

“The women can kind of say what they want. But I would remind people, there’s a family here and there’s real people involved,” he noted.

As for whether Real Housewives were being targeted by the authorities due to their over-the-top personas on their respective shows, Andy admitted he was unsure.

“I don’t know,” he stated. “Everybody’s watching the housewives, so…”

As RHOP fans may have seen, Andy commented on Wendy and Eddie’s legal trouble on the October 13 episode of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“I’m sad about this. I’m really sad about this,” he shared. “I’m a Wendy fan, and she has been a great housewife and a great role model. She’s always led with education and her solid family values, and so I’m really thinking about her and her family, and I’m certainly hoping that this is all some big nothing.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
