Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo, spoke out on Instagram on Sunday for the first time since being arrested for fraud.
Just over a week after the Real Housewives of Potomac couple, both 41, was taken into custody on charges stemming from a potentially staged home robbery in April 2024, Wendy and Eddie leaned on their faith as Wendy expressed gratitude and reacted to a kind message she received from her co-star, Stacey Rusch, 53.
“And through it all, GOD remains faithful. Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time. We are forever grateful,” Wendy wrote on October 19, also encouraging her fans and followers to tune into Sunday’s new episode of RHOP.
An hour later, Eddie shared a statement, quoting Proverbs 3:5-6, which reads, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.”
After Wendy’s post was shared, Stacey met her with kind words.
“Love you,” she wrote.
And after seeing her castmate’s reaction, Wendy applauded her as a “true friend.”
“Thank you for being a true friend and sister. I love you,” Wendy replied.
Wendy also received kind words from other Real Housewives, including her RHOP co-star Jacqueline Blake, 40, and Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Cynthia Bailey, 58, and Marlo Hampton, 49.
“He always shows up in our darkest times. Stay strong for them babies,” wrote Jacqueline as Cynthia added a series of heart emojis and Marlo posted four fire emojis.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
