Angel Massie explained why she didn’t feel that Gizelle Bryant‘s apology was genuine on Sunday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

While also addressing her drama with Jassi Rideaux, defending her energy shifts, and naming the Real Housewives of Potomac cast member she trusts the least, Angel said that while she thought Gizelle, 55, was genuine at first, she later learned otherwise.

“I definitely took it as [genuine] in the moment, until I found out she went back after that and talked about me,” Angel explained on the November 9 episode of WWHL.

Looking back on Gizelle’s claims about her edited photos, specifically her catfish comment, Angel said her co-star “intended” to embarrass her.

“And I will say this: In 2025, let’s stop trying to police the appearance of women and how we choose to show up on our own social media. So I, where I stand with Gizelle right now, is where I stood,” she stated.

While she agreed that it was better for Jassi to come to her on the side rather than in front of the group or on camera about the rumors she wasn’t nice, Angel said that when Wendy Osefo, 41, asked her what they were talking about, she suspected Jassi had been talking about her behind her back.

“I thought that Jassi had gone back and said something to her about it, so in that moment, I got upset and I was like, ‘Okay, this is another gotcha moment on this trip,’” she shared.

According to Angel, she initially felt like she was being set up. But after having another conversation with Jassi, she realized that she hadn’t been.

“We later had a conversation after we weren’t together anymore, and she explained to me it wasn’t like that. But you have to understand, after all that happened on that trip, I really thought that this was the crowning moment of my experience,” she noted.

As for her energy shifting around different cast members, Angel explained that although she looked like she was having a good time after Keiarna Stewart went to bed, she was upset the next day because her anger hadn’t truly gone away.

“I was pissed. I had never switched my energy at all. You see me with the ladies, having what looks like a good time, but I’m actually mad the entire time,” she shared. “I am a Pisces, and so sometimes when I’m mad, I’m smiling, and it’s a little confusing, but the F Marry Kill game, I was trying to make it clear, this is not something that I’m happy about.”

During a game in which she was asked to name her castmates, Angel said Keiarna didn’t warn her about anyone before she joined the show, described Ashley Darby, 37, as the least trustworthy, named Gizelle as the cast member who was most in need of a chin check, and said Jassi had the most iconic reads. She also gave her friendship with Keiarna an “A” grade.

Angel then said that she was “excited to meet all” of the Real Housewives at BravoCon and claimed “all of them” were guilty of altering their photos

Also on the show, after revealing she likes Monique Samuels, 42, saying, “She’s my kind of girl,” Angel confirmed that she didn’t know her before joining the show and explained her husband Bobby Massie‘s connection to Monique’s ex-husband, Chris Samuels, 48.

“Bobby was highly recruited, and Chris Samuels at the time was at a college that was recruiting him, and so they hooked up because the college wanted Chris to try and get Bobby to come over to them,” she revealed. “I didn’t know Monique, and at the time, when Chris and Monique were communicating with Bobby, I didn’t know Bobby.”

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
