Alexis Bellino accused Real Housewives of Orange County castmates of having a “strategy” to get Tamra Judge “off the show” for season 20, and she claimed they’re “jealous” as Tamra “carries the show.”
This season, Tamra called out Katie Ginella for allegedly leaking information about Gretchen Rossi to a content creator. Tamra also exposed Katie for secretly recording Shannon Beador during a meltdown. But after the cast ousted Katie completely, Tamra quickly reconciled with her amid their mutual animosity toward Gretchen. Now, they seem to be the best of friends.
“I do know that every single woman on that stage has a strategy,” said Alexis on Reality with The King, referring to the recent reunion. “There’s no doubt it was to get Tamra off the show for season 20.”
“I think they’re jealous that she’s been on the longest,” she added. “And I think they don’t want someone who has so many facts in her brain — because she’s very smart — that will just call it out when it’s time for the truth to be told. And that is why Tamra carries the show forward … Everyone has some sort of a strategy. It is kind of the game of Survivor to be on a Housewives show, I’m just being honest. I’ve been there and done that, happy that I did it, it was a great part of my life. But it is the truth. You are kind of playing a little.”
According to Alexis, Housewives try not to “tick everyone off” because they don’t want to be like “Katie, on the desert island.”
“You have to try to kind of keep the peace but yet be honest and real and authentic and call the truth out when the truth needs to be told,” said Alexis. “It’s a very difficult career … not everybody can handle it. Not everybody can do that job. And it is entertainment, so you kind of have to keep it at that level — like, none of us are performing brain surgery … We’re literally here to make people laugh and escape their reality and their own world.”
Part two of the Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 reunion airs on Thursday, November 13, at 8/7c on Bravo.
