Alexis Bellino had an encounter with Shannon Beador at BravoCon.
Just over a month after marrying Shannon’s ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 63, the 48-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum revealed if she’d changed her last name, addressed Tamra Judge‘s reconcilation with Vicki Gunvalson, 63, and commented on the anonymous finale phone call while also shading Gretchen Rossi, 47, and Slade Smiley, 52, and reflecting on her drama with Shannon, 61.
“I saw Shannon coming out of a room and she was like, like, dying that I’m there,” Alexis began on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s Page Six Radio.
At the time, Alexis was heading to her hotel room. And because she didn’t want to experience an awkward moment, she kept herself from getting into the elevator Shannon was using, which she ultimately regretted.
“I felt it was a moment where I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, okay, I don’t want to make her uncomfortable. I know she can’t stand it, and she’s having problems getting past all this.’ [But] then I’m like, ‘I’m not going to do that again.’ I did a lot of introspection,” she explained. “I’m going to just say, ‘Hi,’ and get on. Who cares? Life goes by, and it’s so fast, and there’s so many turns and obstacles, and it’s like let’s just move on.”
As for her last name, Alexis said that while she’s “Alexis Janssen legally,” since it’s on her marriage certificate, the full process of changing her name is “going to take some time.”
In addition to her run-in with Shannon at BravoCon, Alexis also had several other RHOC reconnections.
“I was with Tamra almost all day yesterday because we were doing The Two Ts. Obviously, [Teddi Mellencamp] was there, too, and it was amazing and so fun. She’s a hoot. But then Vicki stopped by,” she revealed.
Then, when asked about Tamra and Vicki’s reunion and how it would impact Shannon, Alexis said she didn’t care before expressing her desire to see the ladies make up.
“I’ve said, ‘You guys need to squash the beef,'” she shared. “It’s ridiculous … You have to let things brush off … [And] they’re just such a duo.”
Also on the show, Alexis shared her thoughts on the anonymous caller of RHOC, pointing out that in order to be heard on television, one must sign a release form.
“So right there, we do know who the caller is, and production does know who the caller is,” she explained. “[And] if you are standing firm in who you are and what you’re doing, you’re not gonna worry about being anonymous.”
According to Alexis, there are a lot of stories that “don’t align” when it comes to Gretchen and Slade.
“They don’t make sense … [And] that was the phoniest f-ing phone call I’ve ever heard … Was it production? Or was it Slade? Or was it someone Slade paid to do it?” she wondered.
