Tamra Judge addressed rumors claiming one of the Real Housewives of Orange County husbands was caught having an affair at BravoCon on Jeff Lewis‘ podcast on Friday.
While also giving a nod to the way in which producers have opted to ignore her home life, businesses, and podcast, choosing to instead hone in on her dramatic moments with her castmates, Tamra, 58, spoke of being the series’ villain, touched on Emily Simpson‘s reported communication with bloggers, and reacted to Heather Dubrow, 56, not having her back at the season 19 reunion.
“I don’t believe that,” Tamra said on the November 21 episode of SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live after being asked about Ana Quincoces, 60, talking about the unnamed husband, claiming there was evidence of his supposed infidelity.
“Also,” she continued, “Ana was out there saying that I never went to the hospital when Teddi was sick so … sometimes people don’t fact-check and say things that aren’t necessarily true.”
Moving on to her portrayal on RHOC, Tamra had a bone to pick.
“We don’t show my businesses. We hardly show any of my home life. It’s things that I honestly would like to change. I think it would show a different side to me. I think it would show a softer side to me,” she reasoned. “[But] it’s not up to me because I want it and I’ve been wanting it.”
According to Tamra, things are different on other franchises.
“On [The Real Housewives of Potomac], they’re opening cannabis companies, and I was told way back when, when I opened mine up six years ago, ‘Oh, well, the laws are a little not clear and we don’t want to get in trouble.’ And I’ve had it for six years, but there’s been no talk about it,” she noted.
As for her podcast with Teddi Mellencamp, 44, Two Ts in a Pod, Tamra said she understood why it was rarely mentioned.
“It’s about Housewives shows, and it would be breaking the fourth wall … but we’re breaking the fourth wall all the time. [And] they use my clips if I say … something bad,” she shared.
According to Tamra, producers don’t want to show that side of her.
“All they want to show is a heightened me and a fighting me … I’m typecast as the villain,” she explained.
In fact, she believes a case was built against her after filming wrapped.
“This case was built within one week after we stopped filming. If it was something going on all season long, then I would understand. I just don’t understand. Unless production believes or Bravo truly believes I did [leak information to bloggers], and they just want to slap me on my hand, I don’t know. There’s so many unanswered things that I don’t think I’ll ever get an answer to,” she admitted.
Also on the podcast, after denying that there was any actual proof of her supposed leaks, Tamra said that it “came out recently that Emily was talking with bloggers” and noted that “everybody’s done it.”
She then said that although Heather defended her to press at BravoCon, she should’ve had her back more at the reunion.
“I agree,” she replied when Jeff, 55, made the suggestion.
