Shep Rose reflected on his BravoCon rant about Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.
As he also commented on his relationship with Taylor Ann Green, 31, his fling with Molly O’Connell, 37, and revealed which Southern Charm star had the biggest ego, Shep, 45, expressed interest in several Bravolebrities, revealed where he stands with ex-girlfriend Sienna Evans, and more.
“It’s not who I’m trying to be and not the energy I’m trying to give,” Shep noted of his outburst on the December 10 episode of WWHL.
Then, when asked how Craig reacted, he explained, “I texted him and apologized. I was like, ‘I’m sorry that I put stress in your life in any way, shape, or form.’ And he’s so sweet. I love Craig. He said, ‘I was just upset that you didn’t get my back at the WWHL Live.’ And I was like, ‘I tried to. I really do.’ There’s so many people on the stage. It’s just difficult. He felt none of us did.”
As for his status with Taylor, Shep confirmed they’re not in touch.
“No,” he revealed. “I don’t think her boyfriend [Gaston Rojas] would like that very much.”
Still, he said that he has major regrets about cheating on Taylor “all the time” but doesn’t regret convincing her to quit her job so they could travel.
“That was amazing. We had a great time,” he noted.
After admitting that when it came to Molly, “there were sparks,” Shep said he’s a big fan of her new boyfriend.
“We’re very happy about this … He’s a guitarist. Very talented. But she’s singing now …They’re in a band together,” he explained.
During a game of rapid-fire questions, Shep named Craig as the cast member with the biggest ego and himself as Patricia Altschul‘s favorite. He then “[swiped] right” on Michelle Saniei, 37, Porsha Williams, 43, Ashley Darby, 37, and Rachel Zoe, 54, and said that Dorit Kemsley, 49, was “too close to home” due to his friendship with Teddi Mellencamp, 44.
Looking back at Southern Charm season 11, Shep denied that it bothered him when Craig pursued Charley Manley, who previously stood him up.
“I would never want to step on any of my friends’ toes. If they’re interested in somebody and it’s genuine, that’s probably a good thing. And especially Craig, I’m promoting Craig’s reentry into the wild,” he reasoned.
Also on the live broadcast, Shep shared the top five things he wants to do to grow in the next year.
“Five, I think I want to be in love …. [Four], write more and be excited about my new book coming out … and continue to cultivate my passions … [Three], do things that make me happy and put me in a really good spot, mentally and physically, and all those things… [Two], be of service to my friends and people I care about, and really anybody. [One] My shaman in Costa Rica said, ‘Be unbotherable. That’s when you give someone else power over you. Don’t be bothered by anything.’ Easier said than done,” he declared.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Shep was asked how he felt when he looked back on his time with Sienna, and questioned about whether they’ve stayed in touch.
“We don’t stay in touch … [but] I look back on it fondly … We had a lot of fun,” he explained.
Then, after noting that he looks back on most of his past romances fondly, because he “emotionally connected” with his former flames and “took the time to spend time with them in cool places,” Shep reacted to the idea of a romance between Carl Radke, 40, and Venita Aspen, 32.
“Yes, of course. I love Venita [and] I like Carl a lot. I love Carl,” he said with approval.
Also speaking of Summer House on the live show, Shep made it clear that he doesn’t have beef with Carl or any other cast member.
“In fact, I have a lot of affection for some people on that show. Carl and [Kyle Cooke], we’ve been around a long time together,” he explained.
Southern Charm season 11 airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
