Britani Bateman‘s ex-husband, John Underwood, was arrested last week after reportedly committing a series of violations against a protective order she has against him.
Years after the 54-year-old Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star divorced John, he’s facing a felony charge after being accused of harassment and doxing.
In court documents obtained by TMZ on December 17, it was confirmed that John made a felony appearance in court on Wednesday in Utah, where prosecutors alleged that he had been continuously harassing Britani since the protective order was put into place in 2023 amid their divorce.
According to the documents, John was said to have been caught “staring at [Britani] from the distance allowed under the order, re-routing her mail, and even going as far as tampering with her electrical box at her home to interrupt her power,” explained TMZ.
John, Britani’s second husband, was also accused of commenting on Britani’s social media posts and doxing her by sharing her cell phone number publicly on TikTok.
“There ya go. Give her a call,” he wrote with the number, leading Britani to receive “unpleasant” messages from strangers and “unknown people coming to her house.”
As RHOSLC fans may have seen, Britani, who was first married to J. Michael Bateman, recently reconciled with her on-again, off-again boyfriend, Jared Osmond, with whom she’s been back and forth since fans met her on season five. In fact, during an interview with Stylecaster earlier this month, Britani spoke of their impending engagement, sharing that she has an engagement ring that she keeps on her since Jared is going to “put it on at some point.”
“I’m keeping it with me just so that he can’t take it back. Yep, that’s right. And I’m not putting it on my own finger because he has to do it himself,” she declared.
