Gizelle Bryant reacted to the comment Angel Massie‘s husband, Bobby Massie, made about their late arrival to the Potomac and Ponies event she hosted with Wendy Osefo after Sunday’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac.

As Stacey Rusch accused Angel of being “obsessed” with Wendy, 41, and Wendy revealed her “red flag” with Angel, Angel explained why she and Bobby were late while also calling out Ashley Darby, 37, accusing her castmate of being “nasty” and labeling her a “liar.”

“I was undone,” Gizelle, 54, admitted on the December 14 episode of the RHOP: After Show. “For Bobby to say, ‘We get there when we get there,’ was like, ‘Well, then you can turn your love around and go home. We don’t need that kind of energy. We’re not on that kind of time. You are two hours late. You should be saying, ‘Hey, sorry we’re running late. We’re trying to get there as soon as possible.’”

Ashley was equally put off.

“When Bobby spoke like that, I was really surprised because he’s nice, but he’s never really said too many words,” she explained. “I was like, ‘This seems like some misdirected energy,’ like, ‘Nobody here did anything to you, so why are you getting so hot about it?’ Everyone was like, ‘We want Angel to come.’ She hasn’t come to a lot of our events.”

Then, after Stacey suspected they were “packing boxes,” Jassi Rideaux, 33, confirmed they were still “trying to get settled.”

“That’s why I thought that they were late,” Jassi noted as Tia Glover pointed out that Angel and Bobby have “two young kids.”

“We’re not making excuses. We all have children. We’re all busy,” Gizelle replied.

Although Tia felt that Bobby didn’t realize Gizelle was there and suggested he was “slightly mortified” that everyone was present, Gizelle pointed out that it shouldn’t have mattered.

“He shouldn’t say that to [Keiarna],” she stated, adding that Bobby should “be nice all the time.”

Elsewhere, Stacey took aim at Angel, saying that due to her supposed obsession with Wendy, she assumed she would have been on time.

“It’s crazy to me because she’s so obsessed with [Wendy], you would think because [Wendy] was hosting the event that she would’ve wanted to be there on time to participate. So I found it surprising that they would come, like two hours late,” she shared.

As for Wendy, she noted that Angel hadn’t “found her footing” within the group, “nor [did] she want to.”

“She’s not invested in our relationships,” Stacey agreed.

“And not to even want to get to know us is just a red flag for me,” Wendy replied.

Wendy additionally called out Angel for having double standards with the cast.

“Let the record reflect that here is another example of Ashley and or Gizelle blatantly disrespecting Angel in her face, and she doesn’t have the same energy for them that she does for me. Ashley brings catfish to the event and is announcing it … playing in your face and Angel has no energy, does not pipe up, says nothing, and just sits there on mute,” she recalled.

Looking back at her late arrival, Angel explained that she was, in fact, in the midst of a move.

“All my sh*t was in boxes, and I graced them with my presence even though I had to fish around said boxes to find my cowgirl hat and to make an appearance, and I think that that was very kind of me,” she reasoned. “Anyone else would not have shown up to that. Anyone else would have given themselves grace and space to chill after they had moved. But, instead, I said I am going to be there.”

After noting that her babysitter was late finding her house, Angel slammed Ashley, who confronted her about her house situation after she arrived at the event.

“I think that it’s shocking that she is so immature at her age. It seems like she’s constantly trying to find a moment from me and you want to talk about finding a moment? I’m very confused at someone who can try and act like they want to have a friendship with you and then do something so childish,” she stated.

“I think that she’s nasty. I think that she’s not a good friend. I think that she’s a liar. I think that she tries to deflect all that’s wrong with her life and put it on somebody else. And I think that I am not responsible for the image that someone paints in her mind of who I am,” Angel continued. “I’m only responsible for what my husband and my children and what my friends think.”

“I’m calling back all the good and kind energy and wishes and intentions that I had for Ashley because I’m gonna act like she no longer exists,” she concluded.

The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
