Meredith Marks opened up about her edit on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season six while appearing on West Wilson‘s shared podcast with Sophie Cunningham.
As she also addressed the speculation surrounding what went down between her and Britani Bateman, 54, on the plane, confirmed whether she’d spoken to Jen Shah, 52, since her release from prison, and shared her thoughts on Jen’s potential return to the show, Meredith, 54, explained how she got her start as a DJ, and more.
“This year, all we’re seeing about me is not very positive, and that’s the nature of reality TV,” Meredith stated on the December 22 episode of Show Me Something. “You’re seeing snippets of our lives, and you’re not going to see the whole story or the whole picture because, quite frankly, that’s what makes it entertaining.”
While fans have been desperate to see footage of the interaction Meredith had with Britani on the plane, Meredith said that if there was footage and if it was released, the story would be “a lot less interesting.”
“If I was screaming, dumping wine, and pulling hair, there would’ve been video footage. I’m not saying nothing happened. Something did. But what they’re saying happened is not what happened,” she clarified.

As for Jen, Meredith confirmed she had not spoken to her since she got out.
“She did call me once from prison about a year and a half ago or so, but no, I have not heard from her,” she shared.
While Andy Cohen, 57, has been firm in saying that Jen would never be seen again on RHOSLC, Meredith admitted to thinking he could change his mind.
“He would probably be much more receptive if she had paid her restitution and he knew that there was a change, that she had been reformed and changed and grew, there was something like a positive ending to the story, I think my guess is he would be much more open to it, but, you know, I’m not in his brain. That’s my opinion,” she reasoned.
Regarding her own thoughts on Jen rejoining the series, Meredith said she wasn’t sure what that would be like.
“That’s something I can’t really answer because I don’t know what the vibe would be like now if she were here,” Meredith explained. “Things have changed so much, even within just, you know, those of us who’ve been there since the beginning, who were there with her. Our dynamics have shifted. Everyone has grown a lot, and I’m sure she has, too. It’s been six years, and so, I don’t know what the dynamic would be.”
That said, she admitted to being curious about what went down between Jen and her fellow prisonmates, Ghislaine Maxwell, 64, and Elizabeth Holmes, 41.
“That’s like a story to hear for sure. I’m very curious to hear about that,” she stated.

Also on the podcast, Meredith gushed over her new gig as a DJ.
“Honestly, it has been the most fun thing I have ever done in my life. It’s like having a party every night but not really having to do all the heavy lifting. It’s just not something I ever thought would happen in my life. Like, if you had told me five years ago, ‘You’re gonna DJ in Times Square,’ I’d be like, ‘You’re crazy,’ and people are having fun, you know, that’s the whole thing. It’s so good engaging with people just literally having a good time,” she shared.
As for how she got her start, Meredith said she was first asked to DJ for Pride.
“At first it was Pittsburgh and then West Hollywood, and they were like back to back .. I was very nervous in Pittsburgh, like, anyone who was at the show must’ve been like ‘Oh my gosh, she’s terrified.’ But it was really cute; they rolled me out in a bathtub. That’s how it all started — with Pride,” she revealed, adding that her favorite gig was “probably Times Square” since it’s “such an iconic place.”
