Robyn Dixon weighed in on the drama surrounding Ashley Darby‘s hookup with Charrisse Jackson-Jordan‘s son, Jackson Jordan, on the latest episode of her shared podcast with Gizelle Bryant.
As Ashley, 37, and Charrisse, 60, continue to exchange words publicly, with the latter recently calling out Ashley’s “disrespect,” the 46-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac alum shared her thoughts on the matter, shading Ashley as “tasteless” for revealing her interaction with Jackson on camera but admitting that she, personally, wouldn’t be upset about the actual encounter.
“I think the age gap here just kind of changes things. So if I’m 60, my son is 27, and I have a ‘friend’ that is in her 30s, mid-30s, or whatever, that I probably more so look at as a daughter or a niece than a friend-friend, I don’t know if I would be upset if she were intimate with my adult son, especially my adult son,” Robyn stated on the January 5 episode of Reasonably Shady, via The Bravo Shade Room on Instagram. “If I know that my son dates women and likes to do whatever, yeah, I don’t know that I’m upset about it.”
According to Robyn, what she would be upset about is if her friend chose to speak of the matter on national television, which Ashley did.
“That’s where I would have the problem, especially if I’m not a main cast member of the show, my son, he’s not on the show, like my son thinks he’s living a private life. I’m living a private life. I’m not a housewife. It’s not about my personal life. So that’s where I would have the issue if I were Charrisse,” she explained.
In addition to feeling that Ashley didn’t need to tell Charrisse, since it’s none of Charrisse’s business what she and Jackson do in private, Robyn said it was flat-out “wrong” of Ashley to make the matter public.
“I did not like that. I thought it was wrong. I thought it was unnecessary. If I’m Jackson, I’m probably pissed because I’m like, ‘I’m not even on this damn show. Like, why are you even talking about me?’” she noted. “Maybe Charrisse is upset about that more so than the fact that they were actually intimate, the way it was delivered to her, but I don’t really know.”
While Robyn was more critical of Ashley’s decision to air out her hookup, she said she was also disappointed that Charrisse went on Carlos King‘s podcast to discuss the issue further.
“I don’t know where all of that energy came from,” she admitted, suspecting that Charrisse may have been swayed by the reaction of the RHOP audience online.
Whatever the case, Robyn added, “I thought that was tasteless of Ashley to do.”

As RHOP fans may have seen, Ashley said that she and Jackson “maybe” did more than kiss on Watch What Happens Live in December and confirmed they hung out “more than one time.”
She also gushed about their connection, saying, “When we touched hands, when I took the key from him, it was electricity, it went through my body. He’s so young, I didn’t think that I would like a little youngin like that. He is … 10 years younger than me.”
