RHOBH Recap: Kyle Plays Devil’s Advocate About PK as Dorit Pushes Back, Erika Dishes on Her First Encounter With New Beau After the Paparazzi Pic, and Jennifer Triggers Sutton as Sutton Debuts a New Persona to the Group

On this episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Amanda begins to show her true colors, and Sutton hosts a trip to Sedona. Dorit continues to navigate her impending divorce with PK, who is making this process increasingly more difficult every day. When Erika gets questioned about the mystery man she was seen photographed with, she admits to feeling giddy, something she has not felt around a man in a long, long time.

Sutton shares that she has changed her drinking habits over the last few months, and this new choice has left her feeling better than ever. Jennifer Tilly comes over for some tea (although she does miss her old drinking buddy and could really go for a cocktail), and they chat about the trip Sutton planned for the group.

All of the ladies will be heading to Sedona, courtesy of Sutton, and she hopes that it will help them heal, since many are going through drastic life changes. Sutton wants to reach Dorit, in particular, and attempt to become real friends.

Despite all the drama leading up to the Florida trip, Dorit simply sent her children to be with her parents, and PK did not wind up going. Dorit is full of nerves, worried about the kids, PK, and finances.

When Kyle comes over, Dorit wonders if she spoke to PK. Dorit tries to explain to Kyle that PK is out of control and “out for blood.” Kyle tries to play devil’s advocate, but Dorit reminds Kyle that she does not know the real PK, and she does not appreciate Kyle doubting her. Kyle wonders why Dorit is bashing PK so publicly, a bold move as they are just starting this process.

Dorit goes on to talk about PK and his absence in the children’s lives. The kids have a schedule, and because PK is so disconnected from the structure, he would essentially uproot their lives every time he simply decides to pop back in. PK is pushing back on mediation, and so it’s likely they will be heading to court. Dorit plans to speak with Mo in hopes of somehow reaching PK and talking some sense into him.

Rachel is thrilled to have her younger son back from camp. Rachel explains that the “juggle and the struggle is real” with parenting since she has no nanny, but she remains very hands-on despite her busy schedule. Although having her boys is exhausting, she loves every minute of it.

Kathy enjoys hosting a good dinner party and has invited Amanda, but Kathy has yet to meet her. Sutton likes Amanda… so far, despite her being younger than most in the crew.

When Amanda arrives, she “feels like she belongs in any room she wants to be in.” Amanda explains that she bought Kyle’s house and now she is getting attached to it since making beautiful decisions in the home. Well, that’s an awkward thing to say, considering Kathy is Kyle’s sister, and now Amanda is insinuating the previously made home decisions were not great. She appears to be a big one-upper who talks a lot, and so, she is naturally losing Kathy.

Amanda explains that she is friendly with Kyle. With some prodding brought to you by Jennifer, Amanda continues on, digging herself in deeper. She wonders if Dorit’s constant talking about PK may affect the divorce, particularly because she ran her mouth about PK being a full-blown alcoholic.

Amanda also thinks Erika is trying to intimidate her. It started with Erika calling her boring when she ordered a mocktail, and another time, Erika made cool comments to Amanda. Jennifer wonders if Amanda is tough enough to deal with Erika because that’s nothing! Amanda proudly asserts that she “got Erika in that moment,” but Sutton jumps to Erika’s defense.

Later, Sutton has chartered a private plane for the Sedona trip, but leave it to Dorit to hold up the entire show. She arrives an hour and a half late, citing a travel emergency with her kids. One thing she does not say is “I’m sorry for being late.”

Sutton talks about the itinerary in Sedona and states that the rooms have been pre-selected to avoid any fighting. After the 45-minute flight, they land and find their assigned sleeping arrangements.  Dorit is thrilled to be rooming solo, Jennifer talks to Sutton about Erika in the tabloids with the “Shrek-like” guy, and Rachel is luggage-less. She FedExed her bags to the hotel, but alas, they have yet to arrive, leaving the style icon with only the outfit she has on.

Bozoma is not taking a break from her fertility journey in Sedona. She is taking the shots and doing all the things to prepare her body for this moment.

The dinner table is beautiful, decorated with crystals they can purchase, which prompts Amanda to say, “I’ve spent ten thousand dollars on crystals in one sitting.” Amanda appears to be a pick me. Sutton brushes it off and welcomes the ladies to the dinner table. She wants to build good relationships with the group and talks about her insecurities. Sutton never felt pretty enough or cool enough within the group.

To start fresh, she introduces Sutton BROWN, the new (old) version of herself. She wonders if this name fits, and the women toast this moment for Sutton.

Kyle asks Amanda about her business, and Amanda goes on and on and on and on about herself. When Kathy says, “That’s great,” that means she is not listening or paying attention, and I am with her here. Read the room, Amanda.

Jennifer then asks Erika about the mystery “Shrek-like” guy. Erika explains that she met him backstage in London. She has remained mum about him because it was never the right time to bring it up with the ladies. Dorit is offended that she did not know beforehand, and just WAIT until she realizes Kyle was privy to this relationship information earlier.

Amanda points out that Reddit says he is ex-special ops, and Erika explains that she was the one who walked up to him. She initiated the John McPhee date, and she feels comfortable with him. She does not have a guard up around him, and although they are in the early stages, she feels sad leaving him for this trip. A giddy Erika is a nice new look for her…
