The Real Housewives of Potomac cast looked back on the time they spent with no water at Angel Massie‘s rental home in Colorado after the latest episode of season 10.
As the season’s newbie insisted that she did everything that she could to ensure her castmates’ comfort, Wendy Osefo, 41, described the conditions as “disgusting” and shaded Angel for failing to apologize, as Gizelle Bryant, 55, complained about Stacey Rusch‘s breath and Tia Glover attempted to defend her co-star by mentioning how upset she was about the situation.
“We were using the bathroom and not flushing it because we had no running water. It was disgusting. It was so bad,” Wendy recalled on the January 11 episode of the RHOP: After Show. “Things go wrong, but it’s the fact that you did not check on your guests.”
“I would’ve been like, ‘Oh my gosh, you guys, I’m sending a car, come to my house, use my own shower in my own master bathroom, please, I’m so sorry,’” Stacey agreed. “Did she ever even apologize?”
“No,” Wendy replied, as Gizelle claimed Angel felt “like she [wasn’t] responsible.”
According to Monique Samuels, 42, it was the well that was the issue.
“There was some part that kept dripping, and it wouldn’t allow the water to be pumped through the well so it can go into the house, so that was a mess,” she explained.
“It was horrible,” Gizelle replied. “Stacey couldn’t brush them teeth. So you already know. That bacteria.”
But Tia didn’t want too much backlash to come Angel’s way.
“She started to cry and said, ‘This is really awful,'” she recalled. “She felt really badly about it.”
“Whatever. I don’t care,” Gizelle admitted, wondering why Angel was crying when it was the others who had to go without water.
Still, Tia argued, “We cannot paint this picture like, she didn’t deliberately put you in a house with no hot water … She was crying [because] she thinks you now are going to think it’s malicious.”
In her own RHOP: After Show segment, Angel confirmed she was aware that the rental had been having an issue with its water, but she insisted that she believed it had been fixed.
“We sent someone over to correct the water issues. I didn’t hear from anybody else about the house anymore, so I’m thinking the situation has been rectified. The only reason that I knew something happened is cuz I spoke to [Jassi Rideaux],” she explained. “At that point, I get off the phone with her, and I immediately start trying to figure out different situations where they can be more comfortable because I don’t want people uncomfortable on my watch at the end of the day.”
“I can understand frustration when you wake up first thing in the morning, and you’re supposed to be doing something that day, and you don’t have water. It is discombobulating. I did all the things that I could do to make them comfortable,” she added.
The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c on Bravo.
