Kyle Richards weighed in on Ashley Darby‘s interaction with her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky, which aired on Sunday night’s episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac, during a live appearance on Tuesday.
As the 57-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star also revealed what Gizelle Bryant, 55, told her about the encounter before the episode was broadcast, Kyle threw shade at Ashley, 37, and her potentially “weird” flirting, noting that she would never date the ex-partner of a fellow Real Housewives cast member and suggesting Ashley’s behavior was “embarrassing.”
“I don’t know how it was portrayed because I haven’t seen the scenes. I saw something on Watch What Happens Live. But, I mean, if she was flirting, that’s weird,” Kyle stated during her January 20 appearance on Amazon Live.
“I would never — I was talking about this yesterday — be able to date anybody that any of the women – a housewife – dated or married to. That’s just weird,” she continued. “I don’t know. I’m like, ‘You’re embarrassing yourself doing that on camera.’ And he just bumped into them, by the way.”
According to Kyle, Gizelle reached out to her after the RHOP cast ran into Mauricio, 55, in Aspen amid a girls’ trip to Angel Massie‘s home.
“She texted me right away because she felt uncomfortable. So she’s like, ‘Just so you know, we just ran into Mauricio and blah, blah, blah,’ and I was like, ‘All good,’” she recalled.
Then, after mentioning that “everyone can do what they want,” but stating that she “thought that [was] embarrassing,” Kyle clarified that she “didn’t see” the show and “shouldn’t really comment.”

While Gizelle made sure to keep Kyle in the loop with her cast’s meeting with Mauricio, she admitted on the RHOP: After Show that if it hadn’t been for Kyle, she would’ve been more than open to a hookup with the real estate mogul.
“If Mauricio wasn’t connected to Kyle, I would’ve already had sex with Mauricio … I would have definitely pounced on him … He gets the panties, for sure,” Gizelle declared.
Meanwhile, Ashley denied having any interest in Mauricio in her own segment.
“I didn’t have Maurico on my radar at all,” she stated.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c, and The Real Housewives of Potomac season 10 airs Sundays at 8/7c, both on Bravo.
