Angel Massie is setting the record straight in regard to her status on The Real Housewives of Potomac.
After rumors began swirling in regard to an alleged exit statement, Angel set the record straight on Threads while also clapping back at a fan on Instagram who suggested that she had been “prepped” to go after Wendy Osefo at the season 10 reunion by her longtime friend and co-star, Keiarna Stewart.
“[I’m] sad to see you depart RHOP. I watched your Homeworthy episode and loved it! I hate the way the show didn’t appreciate the real you,” a social media user had written on Threads on February 14.
“That statement wasn’t from me. Someone keeps writing fake statements as if they’re me. I haven’t decided what I want to do yet,” Angel replied, confirming she is not yet locked in for season 11.
Meanwhile, on Instagram, as seen in a video reshared by Housewives by a Housewife, Angel reacted to a fan’s response to a clip made by Keiarna.
“Oh my God, y’all. You know what? I really try not to comment on the things people have to say about the reunions, about this and that, but y’all, y’all have to stop making comments about people and their relationships,” Keiarna stated. “You do not know what kind of friendships I have with my friends. You do not know our thoughts. You do not know the conversations that we have. Like, stop it.”
After having her friendship with Angel pulled into question, Keiarna made it clear that she wasn’t controlling Angel.
“You guys are so used to [these] fake personas and ‘yes’ people. I don’t get down with my friends like that, no matter what,” she explained. “So, about this whole thing that I want to control my friends and all that, y’all, please. Everyone on this show is some grown-ass women. There is no need for me to do any of that. Stop that narrative.”
Although Keiarna insisted she had nothing to do with Angel’s behavior at the reunion, one person suggested Angel had been “prepped.”
“She prepped Angel before the show especially for Wendy!! Because Angel came for Wendy pre-ready!! So Gurlllllaaa plzzz ! Go argue with yo mommaaaa,” they wrote, prompting Angel to respond.
“Please stop it with this narrative. Like are y’all okay?” she asked. “No one ‘prepped’ me for anything. I’m a grown ass woman who is clearly capable of forming her own opinions. The negative peanut gallery commentary is TIRED at this point. You heard it from the SOURCE. Don’t @ me.”
