Bozoma “Boz” Saint John offered an update on her IVF journey with her fiancéKeely Watson, on Thursday.

After sharing her fertility struggles on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Boz, 49, admitted that it hasn’t been easy being vulnerable on-screen as she spoke of her ups and downs, reacted to being left out of Rachel Zoe‘s trip to the Hamptons, teased her own trip to Italy, and explained her decision to gift daughter Lael a Maserati for her 16th birthday.

“It is ongoing and we haven’t been successful yet, but I am still here. We’re still hopeful. We’re still going,” Boz shared during a February 19 interview with Extra.

According to Boz, the best part of being able to showcase her journey on RHOBH has been getting to see everything play out on the show and having fans weigh in.

“People have been so encouraging. Of course, there have been the critics, which you have to just take with a grain of salt, but there’s so many people who are like, ‘Oh girl, keep going. I did five rounds and then got my baby.’ People have been so wonderfully supportive,” she gushed. “So that’s actually been really, really wonderful.”

That said, when it comes to being open and honest, Boz admitted, “It’s been so scary to be that vulnerable.”

“I haven’t had a problem telling people about my life cuz I just feel like, hey, look, this is a human experience. I don’t think I knew how many people go through the IVF journey and how difficult it is for everybody who goes through it. I don’t think I’ve talked to one person who was like ‘It was a breeze. It was fine.’ No. It’s difficult,” she reasoned. “It’s filled with anxiety and hormones that make you feel ill and being bloated. Sometimes I looked at myself on camera, like during the season watching, and I’m just like, ‘Oh god.’ It was difficult.”

Moving on to the cast’s recent trip to the Hamptons, which Rachel, 54, arranged, Boz admitted to being disappointed by being left out.

“[Erika Jayne] had the best line. She said, ‘Why are we not in the Hamptons? I’m stuck here with the money queen mat [Amanda Frances].’ I was like, ‘Oh man, you are right. How did we get left behind?'” she recalled.

Then mentioning that Rachel simply wanted to get Dorit Kemsley, 49, and Kyle Richards, 57, to a better place, Boz suggested her efforts were in vain.

“Let’s see if it works,” she stated, noting that she is a huge fan of Rachel and is closest to her and Dorit.

“Rachel and Dorit are my homies,” she revealed.

Also during the interview, after teasing the cast’s trip to Italy, sharing that the ladies had “funny bits” and shed “tears, some big ones,” Boz revealed that after her daughter Lael pitched her dream car to her, she decided to up the ante and gift her a Maserati for her 16th birthday.

“She didn’t pitch for a Maserati, but I decided to add some extra sauce on it. I didn’t have a Maserati at 16, so this is actually kind of a dream come true for me to be able to give her something that I wish I could’ve had when I was 16,” she admitted.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
