Lisa Rinna returned to Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday night, where she made amends with host Andy Cohen following their public feud.
As she also explained what she meant when she suggested she was playing a character on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, revealed why she chickened out before quitting at the season 12 reunion, and shared what she did that irritated Lisa Vanderpump, 65, the most, Lisa, 62, confirmed that both Leonardo DiCaprio, 51, and Tobey Maguire, 50, reached out to her daughters and commented on Erika Jayne, 54, going public about her past abuse.
On the February 25 episode of WWHL, after Lisa confirmed that Andy, 57, apologized for leaking her texts in his book, The Daddy Diaries, at the Traitors reunion after she called him out in her own book, You Better Believe I’m Going To Talk About It, Andy admitted he was wrong.
“I had all these reasons for doing it, and then when I really thought about it, I was like, ‘Oh, wait, you got to apologize. So I’m sorry,” Andy stated.
“Thank you,” Lisa replied.
“But you are so extra that you burned the freaking book, and did it burn easily? You put it in the fireplace?” Andy continued, citing Lisa’s revelation that she tossed his memoir into her fireplace.
“I am. I am so extra,” she agreed. “[And] it did [burn easily]. And it was so beautiful to watch your book go up in flames.”
“Andy, really, it’s an honor — that I would burn your book is kind of an honor. Actually, it is,” she added.
Then, during another moment of the show, Andy expressed further regret about their past tension.
“It is very clear to me that you have a very complicated relationship with the housewives and a little bit with me as a result of that, and I have to tell you something, and I have to thank you because what I realized is that you showed up for me on two of the most important days of my life,” he noted. “First of all, at my baby shower, you were the hype master. I mean, you made it, it was already amazing, but you got those housewives on the table for me, and you did that, and nobody asked you to do it, and it was incredible, and I will never forget it.”
“Then, people may not realize, you spoke for me with [Garcelle Beauvais] and [John Mayer] at the dedication of my star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, which was another of the most special days of my entire life,” he continued. “You were filming that day, you had just come back from Aspen, you were grieving the loss of your mom, you sat with my mom at lunch — at that lunch afterwards — and you know, I just want to thank you. You showed up for me on two very important days for me, and that is not lost on me, and I really appreciate that, and I’ll never forget it.”
“Well, it was my absolute pleasure,” Lisa responded.

As for her suggestion about creating a character for RHOBH, Lisa denied she was faking anything for the series.
“I became a caricature of myself. I was never acting, but as I watch it back, it was a characterization of me being a housewife,” she explained.
Then, looking back on how she considered quitting amid the season 12 reunion, Lisa said she “came so close” before she “chickened out.”
“I’m so bummed you didn’t, only because it would’ve been so amazing,” Andy admitted.
“I chickened out … just in case maybe you don’t want to quit,” she reasoned. “It’s like so final in that moment, but I came so close. I think what threw me finally was when [Kathy Hilton] came on and I saw her publicist, I was like thrown by that, and so it didn’t keep me as strong as I wish I’d been.”
Continuing on, after noting that it was the moment in which she suggested LVP’s house looked like a disco that “got her more than anything,” Lisa was asked if Leonardo ever reached out to her daughters, who include Delilah Belle Hamlin, 27, and Amelia Gray Hamlin, 24.
“Yes. Didn’t happen, but yes. And so did Tobey Maguire,” she disclosed.
Later, on the WWHL: After Show, Lisa was asked if she’d met Erika’s new boyfriend, John “Shrek” McPhee.
“I have not met her new man, but my friendship with her is as great as it’s always been. You don’t get to see each other as much when you’re not working with somebody. That’s the way it always goes, but I love Erika. I saw her. She came to the house last week,” she shared.
As for Erika’s abuse admission, Lisa said that while Erika shared the information with her privately, she was surprised to see that she’d talked about it on the show.
“I think it is a great part of healing for her. I really do. And you know, it happens to all women. It doesn’t matter if you’re strong or you look like you got the world by the tail. I’m very pleased that she came out and did that because that helps women,” she noted.
