The Abbey is responding to Lisa Rinna‘s claims regarding her apparent drugging at their venue.
After the 62-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum confirmed she’d tested positive for fentanyl, along with amphetamines and other substances, after attending The Traitors season four premiere party in January, and suggested that she’d heard of many others being drugged at the same spot, The Abbey, located in Los Angeles’ West Hollywood neighborhood, she reacted to the claims with a statement.
“Lisa’s team shared concerns with us following her visit, and we immediately conducted a thorough internal review,” the statement, shared with Page Six on February 26, began. “When she became unwell, our security team assisted her and escorted her safely out of the venue. We pulled and reviewed all available surveillance footage from the time in question and interviewed staff on duty.”
Although The Abbey concluded that there was “no evidence” of drink tampering or suspicious behavior, it acknowledged that drink tampering was a “crime.”
“We cannot speak to medical findings and do not want to speculate about toxicology results,” the statement said. “We take any report of a guest feeling unwell or unsafe extremely seriously and follow established investigative protocols … If any guest believes their drink has been compromised, we strongly encourage them to report it immediately, either to our management team so we can respond in real time, or directly to law enforcement if they prefer.”
“The Abbey has extensive surveillance coverage, trained security personnel, and ongoing drink-safety measures in place,” the statement added. “Guest safety remains our highest priority.”
Page Six also contacted the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, who confirmed that no one reported the drugging incident to them.
Back in 2024, The Abbey’s owner, Tristan Schukraft, addressed “wild conspiracy theories online about The Abbey” in an Instagram video.
“If we see anyone tampering with a drink, they are immediately removed, handed over to law enforcement and permanently banned,” he stated.
As RHOBH fans may have heard, it was first reported by TMZ that Colton Underwood, 34, had grown concerned about Lisa at the Traitors bash after seeing that, despite having consumed very little alcohol, she seemed to be completely inebriated. Days later, Lisa revealed the report was true.
“I was [drugged],” Lisa shared on Good Day New York. “I had fentanyl in my system. Yes. I’m not kidding. I had fentanyl, high levels of amphetamines, and other things, but I can’t talk a lot about it because we’re still dealing with it. It was leaked, and my team is dealing with it now.”
She then said that she knows “so many people” who have been drugged at The Abbey.
“All my daughters’ friends. I mean, this is not a first-time thing. This is something that’s gone on for years,” she alleged.
