Pinky Cole, a newbie on Real Housewives of Atlanta and founder of ‘The Slutty Vegan’ burger restaurant chain, filed for bankruptcy as she allegedly owes $1.4 million.

In a trailer for season 17, Pinky mysteriously stated, “I don’t trust no lawyer that eat dead people,”  presumably referring to Phaedra Parks. In a different scene, she told Angela Oakley, “I should’ve bought your foreclosed houses.” Angela responded by calling her “Mr. Clean” and “Papa Smurf.”

TMZ obtained legal documents showing that Pinky filed for bankruptcy (Chapter 11), claiming she owes $1.2 million to the U.S. Small Business Administration.

The docs also allege that she owes the Georgia Department of Revenue an additional $192,000. The financial situation seemingly predates the burger chain. Per the documents, she said her jewelry, homes, cars, artwork, clothing, and other property are, in total, about $3.7 million in value.

The ‘Slutty Vegan’ empire began as a food truck in 2018 before expanding to 14 locations, although some of those locations have since been closed, according to Complex.

Pinky’s total assets are listed as $3,748,000, which includes $2,894,200 in real estate. Her primary residence and several investment properties are included in her real estate holdings.

Her monthly expenses are listed at $41,700, while her combined monthly income is reported as $14,583. Her personal property is also valued at $854,000.

According to her season 17 bio on Bravo, Pinky “join[ed] the group bringing her signature boldness and business-savvy energy. The entrepreneur behind the $100 million Slutty Vegan empire faces a new phase after losing her business and having fought to buy it back. As a wife to an equally successful husband, Pinky supports his rise all while managing life as a mother of five, CEO, and her own share of sizzling plant-based beef with the ladies this season.”

As for Phaedra, who Pinky seemingly argued with in the trailer, the bio stated, “Phaedra returns with her signature wit and razor-sharp reads. As she steps back into the circle, she’s open to mending fences with Angela and proving she’s still cool and unbothered by it all, while still having fun in the dating pool. Though her businesses keep her booked and busy, the lawyer in her is always on and ready to come to the rescue, even as she juggles the adventures of raising two teenage sons.”

The outlet later said that Angela “speaks her truth and holds the ladies accountable. Coming off last season, she and husband Charles Oakley are stronger than ever as she navigates life and family challenges in the wake of her mother’s passing. She’s also still working to repair her fractured friendships from last season and rise above old wounds with Phaedra. While dealing with explosive rumors, and the drama that comes with it, Angela continues to make her career moves, proving that she’s committed to building something all her own.”
