Bozoma “Boz” Saint John is firing back at the online critics who have told her she’s “too old” to have another child.
Amid her fertility journey with fiancé Keely Watson, 50, which she’s chronicled throughout the 15th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Boz, 49, reacted to harsh words she’s received from social media trolls while also defending Erika Jayne, 54, and her involvement in the ongoing feud between Kyle Richards, 57, and Dorit Kemsley, 49.
“In my comments, [there are] people who will say, ‘You’re too old. Why would you try this? Why would you harm your body this way? He’s using you to have a kid,’” Boz told Us Weekly on March 6. “What the hell do you know? You have no idea what’s going on in my body or in my relationship.”
According to Boz, it’s been “very difficult” sharing her ups and downs on the show.
“When somebody’s talking about the difficulty of getting pregnant or losing babies along the way, it’s not something that we share publicly as a society,” she explained. “Everybody wants the happy ending. However, there’s a lot of people who struggle with expanding their families.”
As RHOBH fans may know, Boz welcomed daughter Lael, 16, with her late ex-husband, Peter Saint John, but previously suffered a miscarriage, which caused the pregnancy to be anxiety-stricken.
“After I had Lael, I had so much trauma, so much fear, and I worked on all of it in therapy and with friends, with my doctors,” Boz said. “So, I didn’t come to this decision lightly … [Keely and I] talked about everything.”
“You saw on camera where my doctor suggested that we look at an egg donor. We’ve talked about that,” Boz continued. “We’ve talked about whether or not I will carry the baby, whether or not we’ll go through a surrogate. Whether or not we’ll adopt a child. Whether or not we have children at all. All of those conversations are so important, and I wish that more people would just have those conversations up front. … I’m just glad that we’re adult enough and mature enough to have these.”
Looking ahead to her marriage to Keely, whom she got engaged to in September 2025, Boz said the two of them will “of course” have a prenup.
“He’s a great partner in this,” Boz gushed.
As for their future weddings, one of which will be in Ghana and the other in the United States, Boz added of Keely, “He is involved. He’s paying attention. You know, I’m running these weddings like a damn business. … He is very much in the conversation and doesn’t try to take over.”
Regarding Erika being dragged into Kyle and Dorit’s drama, Boz said that the trio’s blowup in Italy was “so unexpected.”
“I feel like it came out of left field,” she noted on Us Weekly‘s Getting Real With the Housewives on March 5. “In the moments that I was with each of them, I didn’t realize the tornado that was gathering with the three of them. Erika has been such a great balance between Kyle and Dorit. I mean, she’s known them the longest, and to see her sort of in the middle and then break was shocking.”
As seen in previews, the ladies got into it amid a cast dinner, with Erika telling Dorit, “You got something to say, you should say it right f*cking now,” and Dorit replying, “I would much rather be alone than around a bunch of [expletives].”
As she reflected on their group trip, Boz said that the fault was in Kyle and Dorit, not Erika.
“I think Erika was an innocent bystander that then blew up into something much bigger,” she explained. “I can see where Kyle is trying to make points out of her care and concern for Dorit, but I also see Dorit’s frustration with Kyle that she’s not fully on her side. I can see both of them, but they just can’t see each other, but Erika, I hated to see her fall into that trap.”
That said, she is still close to Dorit.
“That’s my home girl. Me, [Rachel Zoe], Dorit —, man, that’s a trio,” she declared.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
