Kyle Richards Denies Calling Boz About Dorit’s Spending on RHOBH, Claims Boz Made the Issue "Bigger" as Dorit Accuses Kyle of Trying to Make Her Look Bad

Kyle Richards isn’t taking all the blame when it comes to her concerns about Dorit Kemsley‘s spending, which were mentioned on last week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

After Bozoma “Boz” Saint John, 49, went to Dorit, 49, to share what she had said, Kyle, 57, denied that she had reached out to Boz about Dorit’s behavior in Italy, suggested it was Boz that brought up Dorit’s spending, and suspected Boz had made the issue “bigger” than it needed to be as Boz defended herself and Dorit accused Kyle of trying to make her look bad.

“Boz was trying to FaceTime me, and we didn’t have wifi and then I ended up calling her back, and then she tried to say that I called her to tell her this. I’m like, ‘No, no. You were actually FaceTiming me. I had to go outside and try to get wifi. So don’t try to turn this around,’” Kyle clarified on the March 5 episode of the RHOBH: After Show.

According to Kyle, she wasn’t being “malicious” when she spoke to Boz.

“It was just two friends talking about another friend that they are worried about what she’s going through, and making observations. It wasn’t like a malicious gossip fest or anything like that. Actually, Boz brought up spending on the phone to me. She said she was worried about her spending habits. You voiced concerns to me,” she stated. “Are you saying that to Dorit, too? This wasn’t a one-way conversation … she had a concern about her spending.”

Looking back, as Boz suggested that if Kyle was “genuinely concerned about” Dorit, and a “good friend,” she would’ve had a conversation with her, Kyle explained why she did not do so.

“If I was really concerned-concerned, I would go up to her. If I thought she was doing something dangerous to herself or drugs or something, I would say something to her. But that wasn’t the case with this,” she reasoned. “I don’t know if Boz made it something bigger than it was, or exactly. I wasn’t privy to this, so I don’t know.”

Although some have wondered why Boz brought the information to Dorit in the first place, Boz said there was no way she could’ve kept Kyle’s comments to herself.

“I was struggling because I’m like, ‘Do I say this in a moment where she’s so high because I know it’s gonna break her down?’ But at the same time, there was no way I could leave her home and not address it because then I wouldn’t have come for what I needed to know,” Boz explained. “She and I got on a phone call, and she was expressing her concerns about Dorit’s … I don’t know if she said ‘erratic.’ It alarmed me cuz I just was like, ‘Oh shoot, is she okay? I don’t understand what’s happening.’ But my brain went immediately to, ‘I gotta go see this girl with my own eyes.'”

Regarding who called whom, Boz said she didn’t remember, adding that “it doesn’t really matter.”

“It was actually just a fun check-in conversation, and then she was like, ‘Hey, look, this very serious thing is going on. You should be concerned,’” Boz recalled.

Then, turning to Dorit, Boz said she did feel Kyle was “validated in being scared to have the conversation” since Dorit would likely not believe she had a genuine concern for her.

“Tone is everything. Approach is everything. And so I do think there’s a place for her to be able to do that. But the history that you’ve had in the last year, year and half, hasn’t allowed for either of you to see eye to eye,” she noted.

Rachel Zoe, 54, also suspected Kyle was “scared” to go to Dorit because she knew it would “be a thing.”

Meanwhile, Dorit suggested that if Kyle had approached her from a genuine place of worry, with the right “delivery and the timing,” she would have welcomed a conversation.

She then hinted that was far from the case.

“I think she’s doing it to make me look bad,” she continued. “I think she’s putting it out there. I think she went around to everybody in the group, so everybody would have that thought planted in their mind. And I think that when the conversation came up, she would not be the one saying I’m the only one who thinks it.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 15 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
