Lindsay Hubbard warned Bailey Taylor that her ex-fiancé, Carl Radke, would likely not have sex with her ahead of their past hangout on Tuesday’s new episode of Summer House.
As Amanda Batula, 34, confronted Kyle Cooke, 43, about his DJ career, Carl, 41, reflected on the time he spent with Bailey, 30, in New York City, noting that Lindsay, 39, had engaged in a discussion with Bailey before the outing.
“It wasn’t a date, but it kinda felt like a date,” Carl admitted to his castmates on the March 17 episode of Summer House.
He then turned to Lindsay and said, “[Bailey] told me a little bit about your convo. That you were just like, ‘Go for it.'”
“I said, ‘You should go for Carl.’ See, I’m nice,” Lindsay confirmed, as Carl admitted he “[appreciated] that.”
“She was like, ‘She gave you two thumbs down, but go for it,'” he continued.
According to Lindsay, Bailey “paraphrased” that information.
“I said, ‘He probably won’t have sex with you, but he’s a great conversationalist,’” she clarified.
Amid a confessional, Carl noted that Lindsay’s statement was likely a dig at their past sex life, which dwindled in the months leading up to their split.
“Lindsay and I weren’t sleeping together because of how not stable foundation we were on, but when we first started dating and having sex, she used to say it was the best sex of her life,” he revealed. “Before that, I used to get destroyed for being a f*ck-boy, having too much sex. Now I’m being a little more careful, and I get dragged for that? Can’t win.”
During another part of the episode, Amanda and Kyle were seen having a heart-to-heart at their apartment after Kyle admitted to feeling like a “zombie” due to his hectic schedule.
“Do you think that you need to like, cut back on anything that you’re doing? Because I feel like your life is kind of creating your stress a bit, too. Maybe, like, you could feel better if you changed some things … Maybe some of the new careers you’ve taken on,” Amanda suggested.
But Kyle pushed back, telling her, “DJing not only brings me probably the most joy out of everything right now, but it also helps connect the dots with Loverboy.”
Still, Amanda pointed out that traveling was “always a lot” for Kyle.
“There’s not a great place among the various opportunities to pump the brakes,” he replied. “I haven’t talked about it much with you, but I’m close to signing with a manager that will help me book better gigs that pay more.”
After Amanda wanted to know how long Kyle planned to do this “DJing thing for,” Kyle signaled “all the stress from Loverboy,” and Amanda clapped back, telling him, “I didn’t marry a DJ, but all of a sudden, I’m now the wife of one.”
“You’re just gonna be, like, traveling and, like, playing late all the time?” she continued. “Where do I fit in? I’m just trying to figure out … if you’re taking, like, us into consideration with some of these decisions. We could be doing things together.”
“But it sounds like you’re signing with a manager, though, so just figure it out,” she concluded.
In his confessional with producers, Kyle got candid about his issues with Amanda.
“I’m making money doing DJ gigs, but I’m also getting Loverboy into venues that normally charge,” Kyle shared. “I don’t understand how she doesn’t see it from my perspective. Like, she could care less about my business, my debt, my employees. Some of them have families; I’m paying for their benefits. Our future, our financial future, you’d think that would matter to Amanda.”
Summer House season 10 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
