Andy Cohen Reacts to Sarah Michelle Gellar Slamming RHOBH as "Boring," Blasts Her for Trashing "[His] Show" During Interview at His Studio

Andy Cohen is clapping back after Sarah Michelle Gellar went on a rant against The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and cast member Amanda Frances at his radio studio.

After learning that the 48-year-old actress had slammed the show as “boring” and suggested that no one was enjoying Amanda, 41, the 57-year-old Watch What Happens Live host issued a statement on his radio show in which he reacted to the diss and called out the interview as a whole.

“Are you loving this season?” Sarah was asked on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea.

“No. In fact, I think it’s boring,” she replied. “I mean, I like the cast. I love [Rachel Zoe]. I think Rachel’s a great addition. I love [Bozoma ‘Boz’ Saint John]. I think it’s a great — I mean, I live for [Kathy Hilton] and [Jennifer Tilly]. Like, I want a spinoff. I want a Jen Tilly-Kathy Hilton spinoff. But it’s slow. It’s just picking up now.”

While the hosts then described Amanda as “polarizing,” Sarah shot down the idea, saying, “I don’t think she’s polarizing. I just don’t think anyone enjoys her.”

She also wondered what it was that Amanda was “manifesting” before clarifying that the season 15 newbie is surely a “very lovely person.”

“[But] if you choose to go on this show, then you have to be ready to open yourself up and be honest, and I feel like, I don’t know, I just feel like she missed that part,” she explained. “Have you ever watched an episode?”

Following the sharing of the clip, Andy weighed in on SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live.

“Page Six Radio interviewed Sarah Michelle Gellar. And it was in our studio, and then they post it, and it’s like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills,’ with all this Radio Andy signage everywhere. And I go, ‘You know what? Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show,'” he stated. “How about the door is locked when I leave? How’s that? Or maybe think twice about posting that all over social media, where it says ‘Andy’ everywhere behind SMG.”

He also said of Sarah’s shade, “Um, she wrong, by the way.”
