Ciara Miller has reportedly been distancing herself from her longtime bestie, Amanda Batula, in light of the ongoing rumors regarding Amanda’s alleged hookup with her former flame, West Wilson.
After it was revealed that Ciara, 30, hadn’t “liked” Amanda’s social media posts for weeks and noted that the Summer House stars recently hosted a supposed-to-have-been-joint event separately, an insider has spoken out, suggesting that Ciara had been given “confirmation” in regard to something that had taken place between Amanda, 34, and West, 31.
“Someone in fashion working [with] Ciara’s team confirmed Ciara making changes to her plans [with] Amanda [with] deals etc due to the West situation. She was given verbal confirmation that something happened between Amanda and West. Production is trying to get concrete proof ahead of the reunion but whatever source/info Ciara got she believes to be true now,” read a March 26 report from Bravo and Cocktails.
As Summer House fans may have seen, rumors about a supposed romantic relationship between Amanda and West began swirling earlier this month, weeks after Amanda announced her separation from Kyle Cooke, 43. However, for just as long, both Amanda and West have denied it.
Most recently, Amanda weighed in on the claims in a comment on a post shared by podcast host Morgan Paige on Instagram.
After a fan had explained why she and West would never date, Amanda thanked them.
“West is a safe boy bestie for Amanda because they’d never date. He’s so much fun, he cares about his friends and they have mutual friends to hang out with all the time,” the fan had written.
“THANK YOUUUUUUU,” Amanda replied.
Days prior, West appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where he set the record straight regarding his feelings for Amanda.
“She’s single now, and it’s happened already to other people that she’s hung out with,” West said of Amanda. “We were just hanging out in New York. She’s single. I gotta show her the streets a little bit. But if it’s not clear, that’s a very important person to me, and I care about her a lot. That’s a friend.”
