Mary Cosby and Angie Katsanevas have had some ups and downs in their friendship in past seasons of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. And earlier this week, they seemed to reach another low point in their relationship.

Amid filming on season seven, and less than two months after the tragic death of Mary’s son, Robert Cosby, Jr., it was confirmed that Mary, 53, and Angie, 52, had briefly unfollowed one another on Instagram.

In an April 15 screenshot shared by Realness of Bravo on X, which appears to have since been deleted, it was revealed that Mary was not following Angie as of Wednesday afternoon, nor was Angie following Mary.

Although the news quickly got fans talking about a potential falling out, the women are once again following each other, suggesting that the unfollow, or block, was a mistake or short-lived.

Just months ago, as season seven came to a close, Mary gushed over her friendship with Angie during an interview with Us Weekly.

“The friendships that I’ve developed, mainly with Angie, [has] probably been one of the pleasures of being on the show,” she said. “Finding sisterhood in this world just in general [is important] because nowadays people … are just different now, even after COVID … People are not looking for friends, and they’re not looking to be a friend to the point where it feels like family. And you just don’t find that no more.”

While Mary didn’t begin filming season seven at the same time as the rest of the cast due to the devastating loss of her son, Angie offered public support to her on Instagram as she mentioned Robert Jr.’s passing.

“You were always there for him. The bond was felt. I’m so grateful you two had so many special adventures together. You showed Robert the world and gave him so much love,” Angie wrote. “I love you Mary.”

No word yet on a premiere date for The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season seven.
