Real Housewives of New York City alum Jill Zarin and her boyfriend, Gary Brody, are being sued by their former pickleball business partner.

A man named Noah Springer is suing Jill, Gary, and GNG Enterprises, alleging he invested $500,000 in 2022 in exchange for a 25% share of a company called Pickle Pro Labs, LLC.

While the company developed a product called the Go-No-Go, Noah explained he was promised a $5,000-per-month salary.

In a civil complaint that was filed in Palm Beach County Circuit Court on April 15, which PEOPLE obtained, Noah’s attorneys accused Jill of breaching the alleged agreement she made with him. They noted this was done in an effort to cut Noah out of the company’s earnings.

As for why he invested in the company, Noah explained in the complaint that he trusted Jill “to act on behalf of Pickle Pro and in the best interest of same.”

He also stated he “advanced funds and business expenses” to the company and provided “services and labor,” but he never got repaid for the money he laid out or for his work.

As for his $5,000 salary, he noted he stopped getting those payments in May 2024.

Noah also alleged Jill and Gary used corporate funds from Pickle Pro “without authorization and abusing their position of trust” to cover their personal expenses and “divert[ed] funds invested by Springer for their personal benefit.”

In the complaint, Jill and Gary were accused of trying to “gain personal benefits from the use of Pickle Pro Property while depriving [Springer] with the benefits of such transactions and commercialization.”

Noah also stated Jill and Gary are “actively” operating GNG Enterprises without him and have blocked him from “any of Pickle Pro’s accounts.”

In the filing, Noah says he was not able to resolve the problems with Jill and Gary in an amicable manner, and he asked the court to grant preliminary injunctive relief.

“Mr. Springer’s sole goal in pursuing this action is for his ownership interests and investments to be respected and for him to be compensated adequately – nothing more, nothing less,” his lawyer said in a statement to PEOPLE.

“Had Ms. Zarin and/or her entities responded to our pre-suit requests to resolve this matter amicably, these lawsuits may have been avoided entirely,” they added. “Mr. Springer remains open to a reasonable resolution but will continue to pursue all available legal remedies, including the recovery of attorneys’ fees and costs, to protect his rights.”

Jill and Gary have yet to comment on the lawsuit.

In addition, he accused Jill and Gary of starting another company, GNG Enterprises FL, in an attempt to sell the Go-No-Go, which used Noah’s “knowledge, funds, resources, and time.” He alleged he was not given profits of the sale of that machine, and that it was created using intellectual property that Pickle Pro Labs owned.
