Danny Booko is speaking out about his supposedly deleted tribute to the late Charlie Kirk.

After Janet Caperna called him out for his public support of the political activist and suggested that she and husband Jason Caperna, 42, couldn’t be friends with him and Nia Booko, 36, due not only to his post, but also his lack of support for other causes, the 42-year-old The Valley star denied that he erased the post.

“I never deleted it. That was a lie. All she does is lie. And it was an [Instagram Story] so it disappears in 24 hours,” Danny explained in a comment on Reality Blurb’s Instagram page on April 27.

Danny then defended the post, which Janet said Zack Wickham “begged” him to delete.

“Do I believe and condone everything he said[?] Of course not. But he was publicly assassinated and his wife lost her husband and kids lost their father. And people cheered about it which was disgusting,” he stated. “Love God[.] Love people.”

As fans of The Valley may have seen, Janet and Jason spoke to Us Weekly earlier this month about their differences with the Bookos.

“Jason and I are both very liberal people, and we’re very outspoken about politics and things like that. I think that there are a lot of people who just are never going to like us or agree with us because of our stance on a lot of issues, and how much we care about human rights and minorities and people,” she revealed at the time.

Meanwhile, Jason said “certain people” were “not going to align with those values, and I think you just kind of have to let that go and care less about what everybody thinks and really care about.”

In Danny’s post about Charlie, he told fans he was “so sad and sick” about the assassination, and he noted that he was “praying for his family.”

The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
