Lala Kent shared a DM she received from Mauricio Umansky on the latest episode of her podcast.
While also reacting to Spencer Pratt‘s run to become the mayor of Los Angeles, comparing his reality roots to that of President Donald Trump, 79, the 35-year-old cast member of The Valley revealed that she got a message from the 55-year-old real estate mogul amid his split from Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards, 57.
“I was watching the [RHOBH] reunion, the second episode. It has been so good, but I was surprised to hear the [Real Housewives of Potomac cast] had filmed with Mauricio at, I believe, Kemo Sabe. And that a lot of them were gassing him up and flirting with him and talking about how sexy he is. And then Kyle receiving, ‘I’m sorries,’ that was not cool,” Lala began on the May 6 episode of Untraditionally Lala, via Vanderpod Recaps on Instagram. “And Kyle’s absolutely right, and maybe I’m up in the night with this, but I do feel like within our little Bravo community, it is like, and especially with the Housewives, there’s some sort of unspoken sisterhood where you just don’t date within the crew. Right? Even if you’re not on the same show. You just don’t do it.”
Lala went on to note that after Kyle and Mauricio’s split in 2024, she got a message from Mauricio.
“I don’t even know if I should be sharing this. It happened so long ago. I have to say, when I was doing the podcast with [Easton Burningham] and my old assistant, [Jessica Walter], I got the weirdest DM,” she recalled. “And I was talking about Kyle and Mau at this time, and this was like at the height of them not really knowing what they were doing. But I got a DM of him saying something along the lines of, you know, I talk about him on my podcast, and he would like to grab a coffee.”
After receiving the message, Lala decided that her best response was no response.
“I just never opened it or responded. Like, there’s not a chance,” she stated, suspecting that he wanted to discuss what she’d chatted about on her podcast.
Also on the episode, after confirming that she was voting in the mayoral election, but declining to say who she was voting for, Lala addressed Spencer’s entry into the race.
“I have heard that Spencer Pratt has a pretty good chance of winning this sh*t,” she shared. “So many people are like, ‘But he was in reality TV, and I’m [looking] at it and I’m like … ‘Guess who else was? Donald.’ It’s a wild, wild west out there. All I know is during those fires someone dropped the f*cking ball [and] change needs to happen.”
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
