The Valley star Danny Booko is being slammed from multiple directions after his treatment of wife Nia Sanchez on this week’s episode.

During the episode, Nia was trying to eat while bouncing their baby, Adelaide, on her lap. When she asked Danny for his help, he told her he was going to get coffee.

Then, when asked to put Adelaide down to sleep, Danny was visibly annoyed.

“I’m wondering why Nia has put me in this situation when we have a babysitter,” he quipped.

As the episode continued, the group headed to a park that had carnival games and rollercoaster rides. While Nia remarked she was “excited” to spend time with Danny, as they don’t have a lot of alone time, he didn’t seem thrilled. When she noted he was “a little critical” of her, he responded by telling her he felt her behavior was “performative.”

Finally, when Nia wanted Adelaide to sleep in their room, Danny objected.

After the episode aired, Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp took Danny to task on their Two Ts in a Pod podcast

“She’s like, trying to eat the sandwich, and the baby’s like, kicking it out of her hand,” Teddi said. “And she’s like, ‘Hey, Danny, can you hold the baby?’” But as Teddi recalled, Danny turned what should have been a very easy yes into a frustratingly annoying no.

Tamra also had a visceral reaction to Danny saying he was going to get a coffee first before dealing with Adelaide, as she boldly exclaimed, “F*ck you.”

On the episode of The Valley, Nia did admit that she and Danny are struggling to some extent in their marriage.

“I feel like there’s certain times where Daniel and I aren’t really, like, attuned as much as I’d like us to be,” she said in a confessional. “I don’t know, I feel off with it.”

“I feel like we’re not quite on the same page energy-wise,” she later said. “It’s a little disheartening when I’m just trying to connect with my man.”

Danny and Nia’s co-star, Zack Wickham, appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, and he admitted that catching “a couple in those little nitpicky moments” obviously makes things not look great.

“It wasn’t the best portrayal of him,” Zack added. “I know that there’s good sides, too. But it definitely wasn’t the best moments.”

Bravo’s WWHL shared the clip of Zack on Instagram, and the comments were not too forgiving of Danny.

“Danny will be another man who didn’t see the divorce coming,” one person wrote.

“I was shocked when he said something to Nia about her doing a ‘performance,'” a second person noted. “His entire persona on the show is a performance until he shows his true side when his eyes go dark, and the good guy smile disappears.”

A third stated they saw a “bit of dark-side Danny,” while a fourth person said there “were some major issues as far as Danny was concerned.”
