Over the weekend, the hottest topic in the Bravo world was rumors regarding an alleged hookup between Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Jennifer Fessler and Summer House star West Wilson.
Venita Aspen, who stars on Southern Charm, put in her two cents on the situation on May 9.
“I think focusing on your marriage of 27 years and practicing loyalty to that should be your main priority not sending threats via an IG story but what do I know,” she wrote on her Instagram Story. “Happy Saturday.”
Later that day, Venita shared an Old Navy ad featuring Ciara Miller, writing, “Now gonna go see what’s up at Old Navy xx.”
Jennifer, for her part, denied the allegation via her Instagram Story.
“In all seriousness… and while I can’t help but be a little flattered, it is not nice, nor is it ok, to post something categorically untrue and defamatory on social media (regardless of whatever rumors or apparent ‘evidence’ led you to that conclusion),” she shared.
“That is the definition of libel,” she added. “If it were true, I would have no recourse. Because it’s a lie, this can get more complicated.”
She wrapped her statement by adding, “Having said that, I hope that we can rectify this. It’s enough now.”
Jennifer returned to her Instagram Story after her initial post to issue a bizarre apology about the font she used in her initial denial.
“I’m sorry!!!!!! I admit it,” she wrote on May 9. “I used the wrong font.”
Since Ciara initially alleged the pair hooked up, fans have been digging through archives looking for potential proof.
In one resurfaced clip from Watch What Happens Live, Jennifer appeared alongside RHONJ alum Jackie Goldschneider.
When host Andy Cohen asked who in the Bravoverse would be Jennifer’s hall pass, she said, “Personally, Jeff doesn’t give two… Out of everybody, there’s one that I just can’t take it.”
“I know who it is,” Jackie interjected. “And he’s cute. I’ll share him with you.”
Jenn then blurted out, “Evan Goldschneider,” while Jackie said, “West.”
Fans have also pointed to a bizarre post Jennifer put up for her husband last month to ring in their 27th wedding anniversary.
Alongside a photo of the pair on their wedding day, she wrote, “Happy 27. You could sleep with West or Amanda and I’d still stay!”
Ciara initially accused Jennifer and West of sleeping together after Jennifer came to West’s defense on the red carpet at last week’s The Masterminds of Reality TV event hosted by Vulture.
Someone on X recapped what Jenn said, writing, “Former RHONJ ‘friend of’ Jenn Fessler was asked by Page Six about the Summer House scandal tonight and said this about West: ‘[West] is the cutest, sweetest golden retriever puppy dog. He does not mean any harm. He didn’t mean it. He’s just trying to have a good time. He doesn’t wanna hurt anyone. Give him a break.’ Girl…”
Ciara did not hold back when responding on her Threads page, stating, “lol, because they slept together too.”
“Ma’am! I beg your pardon?!?! Ain’t that old lady married? Oh he got a type! 😂,” a fan replied.
“That’s what I thought….🤸🏽♀️,” Ciara answered, doubling down on her claim.
West, for his part, responded to the allegation on his Instagram Story, insisting it was “news to” him.
