Ariana Madix was asked about the backlash Janet Caperna has received due to her behavior on The Valley while appearing on Tuesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live.

As the 40-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum compared “Scandoval” to “Scamanda,” revealed whether she gave advice to Summer House star Ciara Miller, 30, and spoke of topics pertaining to Love Island USA, Ariana also shaded Kyle Cooke‘s DJ career, looked back on her run-in with Barack Obama, and more.

“I’ve never seen The Valley, to be very clear, so a lot of it I just feel like I’m not privy to what’s going on in that world,” Ariana began after being asked about Janet on the May 12 episode of WWHL. “In the real world, I think Janet is literally the most wonderful person, and I hate to see her get so much heat, but she’s a tough b*tch, so she’ll handle it well.”

As for the many comparisons between “Scandoval,” which saw Tom Sandoval, 43, getting caught cheating on her with Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 31, and “Scamanda,” which featured West Wilson, 31, going public with Amanda Batula, 34, the former bestie of his ex-flame, Ciara, Ariana said, “I think there’s some similarities. [And] I think there’s a lot of differences as well.”

While both she and Ciara were victims of a heartbreaking betrayal, Ariana didn’t offer any advice to her fellow Bravolebrity.

“Honestly, I feel like she doesn’t need my advice,” she noted.

Reflecting on the recent sale of her previously shared home with Tom, Ariana said it was “nice” to close that chapter.

“I think for a long time it was out of sight out of mind anyway, but it’s nice to just kind of have that said and done,” she explained, adding that they made good money on the sale.

Moving on to Love Island USA, Ariana gushed over the nearly year-long romance between Olandria Carthen and Nic Vansteenberghe.

“I saw them at a party, I think it was the Vanity Fair pre-Oscar, and they were being the cutest. Nic, of course, was like, helping her carry her bag, and honestly, it was really nice to just get to catch up with them a little bit. I love both of them so much, and I love seeing how great that they’re doing,” she shared. “It honestly kind of blows my mind that it’s already almost been a year, and honestly, I just think they’re so great together. I felt that chemistry night one, so I love seeing it play out in real life.”

Then, after joking that she didn’t know of any potentially impending twists to Love Island USA for season eight since producers know she’d tell the world, Ariana said she’d love to see JaNa Craig on Love Island Games.

“I think she would be so good,” she declared.

Reflecting on the season 10 reunion of Pump Rules, which saw the fallout of “Scandoval,” Ariana said it was good to get all of her emotions out on the table.

“I’m the kind of person who would avoid it normally at all costs … So it is kind of, there’s a catharsis there, I think,” she reasoned.

As for Kyle’s career as a DJ, Ariana laughed about the many Bravo reality stars going down the same path, as she suggested that Kyle work on his own tunes.

“It’s in the air,” she shared. “I saw him DJ the other night, and he was really good. But … he doesn’t have any of his own music … He needs to start making some of his own music.”

Also on the episode, after being asked about meeting Barack, 64, the former U.S. president, Ariana signaled Michelle Obama‘s interest in both Love Island USA and Bravo.

“I’ve seen Michelle Obama talk about Love Island and Bravo shows, so my fingers are crossed that if she’s seen it, maybe Barack has seen it … [And] he has really soft hands,” she revealed.
