Summer House star Ciara Miller has revealed she’s “mad” for Kyle Cooke as he navigates the drama surrounding his ex, Amanda Batula, and West Wilson.
After Amanda and West confirmed they were an item on March 31, setting the Bravo world ablaze, reactions have been unsurprisingly visceral.
Ciara is reportedly “mad about what Amanda did to Kyle,” according to a source who spoke to Us Magazine.
“She stood by Amanda when she was going through her own issues with Kyle,” the insider stated. “But little did she know there were other things at play.”
As for how Ciara feels, as she had an on-again-off-again relationship with West, the source revealed she “feels betrayed and hurt.”
“She feels betrayed because of the fact that she was a good friend to Amanda and now has to look back to see that her best friend betrayed her with her ex,” they elaborated.
The source also shared Ciara feels Amanda and West “were very sneaky” regarding their relationship.
“She feels their public statement was not genuine and it was not a real apology because they didn’t apologize to her publicly or privately,” they added.
For his part, Kyle was recently seen smooching Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King.
An insider spoke to Us Magazine after the kiss, insisting Kyle isn’t ready for anything “serious” after his split from Amanda, but, rather, is “doing his thing.”
“Kyle has been flirting with different women on his nights out,” the source shared, noting he’s now “putting himself out there.”
“Nothing over the top, just easing his way back into the scene,” they elaborated.
As for the kiss with Meghan, they said it was “random” and “nothing.”
When West and Amanda confirmed they were an item, they said it was “still very new,” but they wanted to “provide some clarity” in a joint statement on social media.
“It was never our intention to purposefully hide anything,” they explained. “Given the complicated dynamics involved and the scrutiny that comes with being on a reality show, we needed a little space to process things privately before speaking on it.”
“We’ve shown up for each other as friends over the years, through all the highs and lows, and what’s developed recently was the last thing that either of us expected,” they stated at the time. “Our connection grew out of a genuine, long-standing friendship, which made it especially important for us to approach this with care.”
Amanda and West noted that, as their “feelings evolved,” they kept quiet, due to wanting to “take time to understand exactly what [they] were feeling.”
“We also recognize that this has had an impact beyond just us and never wanted our actions to cause any hurt or be perceived as careless,” they said. “We truly appreciate the understanding and respect as we navigate this.”
