Lala Kent addressed her falling out with former assistant Jessica Walter on Wednesday’s episode of her podcast.
As she also shared their most recent communication and revealed a Bravo star she’s friends with, Lala, 35, spoke about what led her to cut ties with Jessica and named the Valley co-star she’s closest to.
“How funny that Jess texted me over the weekend, and she sent me a clip of the podcast that we all used to do together, and she was like, ‘This just popped up in my memories. I miss you. This is where I live now. If you’re ever in the area, we should get a coffee.’ And I was like, ‘I miss you so much, all the time, every day,'” Lala explained on the May 27 episode of Untraditionally Lala.
“I did a podcast with Ambyr about what friendships I feel went south, and not saying that Jess and I, we, whatever happened, happened. But I miss her so much,” she continued. “I miss all of it. She was like such a special, bright light.”
According to Lala, the end of her relationship with Jessica “had everything to do with timing” and Jessica’s aspirations to do more.
“She wanted things, and I so desperately wanted to give her all those things, but the timing wasn’t allowing it,” she revealed. “She needed to move on. [But] I love her. I miss her. And she is one of my most favorite people still to this day.”
As for the person she’s closest to on Bravo, outside of her castmates, Lala named Real Housewives of New York City alum Dorinda Medley, 61.
“I love Dorinda. Dorinda and I are super close,” she stated.
Then, after confirming she was “very close” to Brittany Cartwright, 37, and Janet Caperna, Lala said her closest friend on the Valley cast was Michelle Saniei, 37.
“Michelle and I have like a very cute, special friendship. She’s like the one I call every single day. Like we do the check-ins in the morning [and] at night,” she shared.
The Valley season three airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
