A past interview surfaced of Amanda Batula claiming that she and her estranged husband Kyle Cooke had an arrangement in which he paid “rent and the bills.” Plus, Kyle reacted to an accusation that they “faked” their wedding for Summer House.
On the series premiere of their new show, In the City, Amanda separated from Kyle. She also shared that she had to pay him $117,000 last year to reimburse him for three years of back rent. Kyle has been open about his financial struggles concerning his beverage brand, Loverboy. And earlier this year, Amanda went public with her romance with West Wilson, their friend and costar.
Recently, a past interview surfaced of Amanda claiming that she and Kyle have an arrangement concerning the rent and bills.
“He pays rent and the bills,” said Amanda on Trading Secrets, via @thebravoinvestigator on Instagram. “And then … I’ve decorated the whole apartment, I was making a lot of those big purchases, I do all the food, everything else that’s around the apartment, I’m purchasing. So we sort of work it out that way.”
Meanwhile, on Threads, Kyle responded to a fan accusing him of filming a “phony wedding.”
“After a lot of attempts to find any speck of proof of legal common-law marriage between Kyle and Amanda, the results show no record of marriage,” said @scheanasfrog. “Through all public records sites and requests… there is NOTHING. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Only a phony wedding on bravoTV.”
Kyle clapped back sarcastically in a comment.
“You got me. I’m an actor and faked a $200k wedding in front of my entire family, friends, and the world,” he wrote, via @thebravoinvestigator. “The only actor with an MBA, a SBA loan, 2 businesses, and an acquired set of skills that lets me recall my scripted lines from memory when drunk, even blackout. I’m a jack of all trades which is exactly why I’m capable of pulling off such trickery.”
“Oh wait here’s a pic of us at Hillsborough town hall,” he added, showing a smiling photo of himself signing papers with Amanda. “Respectfully, please take off your tinfoil hat.”
