Kelly Dodd’s brother, Eric Meza, lashed out at her and her husband, Rick Leventhal, during an interview last week.
As he hinted at legal action against her, offered an update on Kelly’s ex-husband, Michel Dodd, 67, and suggested the 50-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County alum’s marriage won’t last, Eric claimed that Child Protective Services (CPS) nearly took Kelly’s daughter, Jolie Dodd, 19, from her years ago.
“CPS was gonna take Jolie away from Kelly. She made Jolie lie on a 7/30 evaluation … where they see where you are cognitively in terms of like, it’s an evaluation of the mother to see if she’s sane enough to raise her child,” Eric alleged on the May 29 episode of the Sarah from Texas podcast, noting that Jolie was around eight or nine years old at the time. “These are all facts. This is all documented. And she would threaten Jolie… So Jolie had to lie because Jolie was scared. She’s a little girl. She didn’t want to get in trouble.”
“When you lose your daughter, you’re a loser. Period. Her daughter doesn’t want to have anything to do with her whatsoever, neither do I, neither does her mother and her brothers,” he continued.
While Eric couldn’t share details, he told Sarah that there were “a lot of legal things happening towards [Kelly].”
Continuing on about Kelly, Eric said, “She’s evil,” as he encouraged her to “focus on [her] family.”
“Focus on your mother. Focus on your daughter, getting things right. Going to church. She needs to go to confession. She’s got a Jezebel spirit. Like, she’s a really, really bad, bad human being. I mean, she’s the lowest of the low,” he stated.
Moving on to Michael, Eric said he and Jolie were “perfect.”
“He’s a great father and she loves her dad, and he’s done a lot for her,” he revealed.
According to Eric, he doesn’t believe Kelly and Rick will last.
“Once something happens to Rick or he gets fired… she’ll try to find a billionaire. She will go out and put herself out there to find a rich guy to support her because that’s her M.O.,” he alleged.
Eric also shared that Kelly recently reached out to their brother.
“Kelly found out that Tony and I were talking to Kelly. She texted Tony, like, ‘I miss you, brother, let’s hang out.’ … And then he’s like, ‘F*ck that. I blocked her,’” he shared.
Also during the interview, Eric addressed a recent invitation Kelly received to a wedding. Eric clarified that she was only invited because everyone was making amends after their mom, Bobbi Meza, 77, had a stroke.
“That didn’t last very long,” he confirmed.
