Dorit Kemsley was joined by Sutton Stracke‘s former assistant, Avi Gabay, at her book signing at the Barnes & Noble store at The Grove in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Just over a year after Sutton, 54, confirmed that she and Avi had parted ways professionally, and as they remain estranged, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star appeared at the location to promote the sale of her new memoir, Unburdened, which hit stores and online retailers on Tuesday, and so did Avi.
In a video shared by The Sarah Fraser Show on TikTok, Avi declared, “I’m here to support,” and he told the show host he was “happy” and doing “fantastic.”
Avi also denied that he had started working for Dorit as her assistant, saying, “No … I’m just here supporting a friend.”

As for whether Dorit was on time, The Sarah Fraser Show posted a second video in which they confirmed that Dorit was “slightly” timely.
“SHE IS HERE Dorit has arrived slightly on time,” she wrote in a caption, adding in the video that Dorit was 20 minutes late.

As fans may know, this isn’t the first time Avi has shown his support for a RHOBH star since he and Sutton stopped working together. Months ago, he attended the premiere of Lifetime’s Taken at a Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Movie to support Garcelle Beauvais, 59, who had infamously had her own falling out with Sutton a short time prior.
No word yet on when filming will begin on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 16.
