Chief stew Daisy Kelliher shared what happened with bosun João Franco after Below Deck Down Under wrapped, as she revealed their relationship status today.

In the recent finale (after a season of heavy flirting), Daisy kissed and cuddled with João in their shared cabin. Both castmates expressed their hope that the romance would continue. Many fans are wondering what went down after the season wrapped.

Speaking to BravoTV.com, Daisy revealed that she’s “single.”

“Nothing happened between us,” said Daisy regarding their dating life following the season. “We’re fine—[we] don’t really stand anywhere.”

In the episode, Daisy told producers, “I’m not used to dating guys that are so nice to me. … And now that I’ve finished the season, it feels like I can invest more energy into him. … I’m willing to see if the chemistry keeps building. But the next phase is going for dinner. Baby steps.”

In his own confessional, João expressed at the time, “I’ve only known Daisy for a short time, but I feel very privileged to have her trust me with her emotions. … Can I see something more than casual? The quick answer is yes. I wanna see where this goes.”

Though their romance didn’t last, Daisy praised João on her Watch What Happens Live interview back in November.

“We have a great relationship,” she stated. “I loved our season. And we worked well as a team.”

On The After Show, Daisy shared that she had walls up with João due to her past boatmances that didn’t work out.

“I do wear, like, a very big armor. I don’t like to show people vulnerability. I don’t like to show softness, even though I’m actually a very soft person…I think over the years I have built up this massive defense,” she said.

João later expressed, “There is an emotional component to cuddling Daisy. … It’s a comfort. … When I look back now, I realize there was more of the chemistry than I thought there was.”

João was first introduced to Bravo as a deckhand on season 3 of Below Deck Mediterranean, and he was promoted to bosun a year later.

Season 4 of Below Deck Down Under recently concluded.
