Camille Grammer clapped back at Dorit Kemsley’s recent shade on Watch What Happens Live – as Camille accused her of “play[ing] the victim.” Dorit also addressed their feud, and slammed Camille for “beating a dead horse.”
On a recent episode of WWHL, Dorit was asked to respond to Camille’s claim that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills turned Dorit into a monster. At the time, Dorit insinuated that Camille was resuscitating a feud from 10 years ago – alluding to their past drama when Dorit drunkenly called her a “stupid c***” on camera.
In season 9, Camille clapped back by suggesting that Dorit and her husband PK Kemsley were living above their means. Later in season 14, Dorit called Camille the C-word, again.
“Here’s my response to Dorit’s sassy comment on Watch What Happens Live last night,” said Camille in an Instagram video. “Dorit, consider season nine what I said a gift. Because you got to play the victim, and that season would have played out very, very different for you – considering the dog situation and other situations like the woman running around asking where the money was and if you had paid your investor for your bikini line.”
Camille seemed to be referring to Dorit’s Puppygate controversy with Lisa Vanderpump, as well as Dorit’s mysterious swimwear line, Beverly Beach (which she hasn’t discussed on the show in several years). Years ago, a woman filmed Dorit while she was on vacation, as she accused her of owing the woman money.
“I gave you a gift. So I turned the season around [and] you became the victim, and I was the villain,” said Camille. “So you are very welcome, because you play victim very well.”
In an interview with Us Weekly, Dorit threw shade at Camille.
“Talk about beating a dead horse,” she said. “I joke and I tease that I think that Camille [has] always wanted to be in the spotlight. It’s always been something that she’s chased and she’s liked. And I think sometimes when someone like that is looking to be relevant or see their name in a headline, they attach themselves to something that’s easy.”
“Season 14, when she came in – after eight years of … trying to ruffle feathers, [and] I just was not paying any attention – she caught me in the wrong moment,” said Dorit. “What did I do? I mean, it was one drunken moment that was a joke. … I apologized. Really, how many times can you take that pony for a ride? You know what I mean? It’s embarrassing at this point.”
