Tarek El Moussa and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, experienced a home burglary on Monday.

As they vacationed in Los Cabos, Mexico, the couple’s $5.2 million Newport Beach mansion was targeted by robbers who stole several high-dollar items from the property, leaving the 38-year-old Selling Sunset star feeling “disgusted” and “violated.”

According to a report from TMZ, Newport Beach Police officers responded to Tarek, 44, and Heather’s home on June 8 at about 5:40 p.m. after being alerted about the burglary. However, they don’t know much about the crime, including how the robbers made their way inside, and what and how much was taken.

Earlier this week, before the burglary was made public, Heather shared a cryptic post on her Instagram Story, addressing the matter.

“Disgusted by some of the cruel and heartless people in this world. Tarek and I feel violated and to be honest really sad. Taking a break for a few days and will be back to explain soon. We are safe [and] the kids are safe,” she wrote at the time.

Tarek and Heather married in 2021 and share a son, Tristan Jay, 3. Tarek also shares daughter Taylor, 15, and son Brayden, 10, with ex-wife Christina Haack, 42.

As Selling Sunset fans may have heard, Heather made her return to the series for its 10th season official in April with a post on Instagram that featured a video of her calling boss Jason Oppenheim, 49, and telling him, “It’s time.”

“See you on Sunset,” she added in a caption.
